Lars and Martin arrived on time and got right to work - they had the right part and fixed the door within a few minutes. They also, at no extra charge, replaced the outside lock (the keys had gone missing over the years). They also offered to replace (again, at no extra charge) the handles with something newer, but we decided against it. They made sure everything was working and explained what had failed. I was very pleased."

Due to their lack of experience AND a couple of situations out of their control, they spend MUCH more time repairing, yet, doing, a seemingly, good job [so far after 1 day], than the last repair of this same door by another ANGI? Pro, who did so for much less [the job is "extremely" simple for the RIGHT Pro] and somewhat better job. I have not yet used the shower, but I am fairly confident NorCal Sliding Door Repairs did a good job in an area they have no direct experience. I did not re-hire the previous company I used, since I couldnt find them on ANGI when i requested quotes for this job. If not for the "excessive?" service charge of NorCal Sliding Door Repairs for this "minor" job, I'd rehire them for future shower door work: First Shower job: 3.5 stars"

We discussed options, he explained costs and benefits of various options, and I was able to make decisions confidently. I also asked him to repair some large structural members that had suffered from wood rot, and he handled this tricky project well. There were many unknowns when we began, but he kept be well-informed about progress and together we altered our plan many times in response to new discoveries. The end result was excellent!"
