"This review is to sum up the last 4yrs on top of today’s visit. Stephen Hume IS an absolute professional. HE IS the definition of professional. He’s worked with my Mom for countless years. He never takes advantage like most plumbers, electricians, contractors do. His prices are beyond fair. His work IS impeccable. He’s a very hardworking man that is VERY PUNCTUAL!!!!!!! He’s been our personal plumber for 4yrs since we bought our first home. He squeezes us in if we need him on a drip of a hat. I have referred him to two of my best friends. Each had used him for two years and absolutely love him. I just recently gave his reference to my sister in law and they have used him twice and told me they were very pleased with his work. How I put it…. My Mom is one of the most picky customers you can ever come across. NOTHING IS GOOD ENOUGH SHE CSN FIND A FAULT IN MOST WORK DONE BY SOMEONE WORKING ON HET HOME…. If she refers someone…. I LISTEN!!!! I’m so happy she came across Hi-Performance Plumbing because we feel the same as she does. He’s so stinking awesome. Mellow polite gentleman with a very laid back personally and he’s not here for show. He’s not here to dangle a shiny bobbin in one direction as he charged you up the you know what. "The reason we had to deal with Daniel Cordova Plumbing is that they did an expensive project before and after that project the toilet was not properly working. They claimed it was a bad pump so we agreed to change it. 1. I asked to itemize the project, they never did that though the price for a one day job was $6505. 2. We ordered the pump they listed in the invoice but we had to return it paying $250 return fee because they claimed they already bought a pump and according to them there was no way to return it. 3. They refused to provide a receipt for the pump they bought. I was insisting on it since it is my right to know what pump was installed in my property and have pictures of installation as well. CSLB confirmed I am entitled to it. Instead they gave me NOT a receipt, but a very strange invoice with an absolutely different pump name on it and a date of purchase earlier than our invoice. The name which was never mentioned in the invoice. Was it a direct or indirect deception is up to you to judge, but it was not a receipt 100% and I still have no idea what pump was installed in my property. 4. Nick Giles threatened to take the pump away and leave us in a completely dysfunctional house only because I requested documentation I am entitled to. CSLB says I have plenty of ground to file a complaint. 5. I shared my experience with Daniel Cordova Plumbing. It is up to you to hire them or not. I would stay away from this company."
