"The adage “You get what you pay for” rings true with MF Construction. When we were in the market for a general contractor to build our two-bedroom/two-bath ADU in San Marino, we interviewed several general contractors. Mike Maman of MF Construction was one of them. Mike showed us several of his projects as well as his own custom home. We were extremely impressed with the end results. After reviewing several competitive bids, we selected Mike because of his 40+ years of experience in building high-quality homes. During the construction of our ADU, Mike was just a text or phone call away. He kept us informed of upcoming events and visited our job site almost daily, sometimes more than once a day. He was present at all 12 of the City inspections. Every step along the way, we noted the high quality of materials Mike uses from the Ganahl lumber to the thick insulation and roofing paper to the copper pipes and shower hot mop, and mold-resistant drywall. Mike uses materials which meets or exceeds code requirements. Everyone on Mike’s team is extremely skilled in his/her craft, many having worked with him for decades. Mike is old school and does not take any shortcuts. Along with high quality construction and materials, Mike is extremely efficient. Our ADU was completed in four months, as promised. Progress was made every day. From the rough work to the finishes, Mike scheduled his team members just in time which resulted in an extremely efficient and smooth workflow. Mike builds with his heart. His passion is infectious which inspires his team members to do their best work. The results are evident in the finished product. Our neighbors and friends are extremely impressed with the quality and build of our ADU. If you value a well-built home and appreciate attention to detail, you will not be disappointed with Mike Maman. You WILL get what you pay for with MF Construction."

"If you are looking forward to remodeling your bathroom the only choice one must make is Platinum Home Builders & Design. Recently I had appointed Platinum Home Builders & Design for my bathroom remodeling. And right now my bathroom is as luxurious as a high-class hotel."

"Nathan impressed from the time I first met him. He was far more professional than other contractors in terms of describing how his company works and what I should expect if I worked with him. He also has a nice showroom where you can look a variety of cabinets in different styles and colors as well as countertops. We ended up getting a countertop that he suggested. We would never had picked it on our own but it ended up looking amazing in our kitchen. We had him do a complete remodel of our kitchen and one of our bathrooms. The guys on his crew were always prompt and showed up as scheduled. His foreman was both a good communicator and listener. Whenever we ran into an unexpected issue, they communicated clearly what additional costs would be involved (if any) and how much additional time it might take. The cabinets he installed were custom made but did not cost more than the pre-fab ones you can buy at the large home improvement stores. They are of high quality and well constructed. I actually saw his cabinet guy using a small caliper to make sure the door distances from the cabinets were all even! Lastly...here's something you'll never hear about a contractor...he finished AHEAD of time! Nathan's company are straight shooters and very skilled craftsmen. I would work with them again."

"I contacted AXE about building an ADU behind my main house. Tomer was very helpful as I had no idea where to begin. AXE handled everything from beginning to end, including pulling plans during the pandemic which was a very involved process. They were attentive and accommodating; always ensuring we were happy with the progress and also keeping us updated on the next steps in the project. Once we were in the final stages, the AXE team found everything we wanted from our blue cabinet paint color to my wifeâ  s dream barn style sink. Weâ  re beyond happy with the results."

"Kevin brought our dream ADU to life! He is an amazing contractor who pays great attention to detail and he has several licenses which insured his work was of the highest quality. He REALLY listens to what the customer wants and he delivers! We are SO pleased with our new ADU and we offer him our highest recommendation!"

"I am grateful to American Professional Builders, I can't complain at all ,they were clean, tidy and responsible, Jose helped me from the beginning, giving me quality attention, helping me find excellent designs for my house, I was very afraid that other companies were going to overcharge me but I trusted Jose and everything was very beautiful, his experience helped me make the most of the space, making it look elegant and luxurious, adjusting to my budget, I would definitely hire them again , because they built my entire home, from the start to finish everything was wonderful, they made my dream and my families dream come true"

"Ben did some remodeling for our house in 2017. He was clear about the necessary steps and was dependable. He showed up when he said he would, and the work was finished on time and on budget which is very rare for contractors. He also provided thoughtful solutions to an outdoor drainage issue we had in our older home. A couple of years later we also hired him to do flooring at my relative's house, and he again completed the work on time and on budget with his team. We have always loved working with him and would gladly use him as our contractor on future jobs."

"Working with Universal Home Design on our bathroom remodel has been a terrific experience. Ouriel was fair in his pricing, the work was high quality, and throughout the process he was an excellent communicator, checking in regularly about key decisions and laying out next steps. The work proceeded exactly as he had described and was completed on time. My wife and I hired him for a second bathroom job right away."

"Jorge, Andy and their team at A1-Builders were knowledgeable, honest, reliable and above all always available to answer any questions we had. They helped build a 2 bed 1 bath 600sqft addition to our home during the lean months over the pandemic. We had multiple projects (pool, patio, retaining wall) going on at the same time with other contractors and the crew from A1-Builders were by far the most professional. They always made sure that they left their work site clean after each dayâ s work. Jorge will definitely be the first person I call for our next home project because I know that even if he does not have the time to do the work, he will always guide me in the right direction. Thank you again to the entire A1-Builder team!"
