"Dorel was very professional to work with, and the results exceeded expectations, in that the refinishing is essentially flawless and the floor is gorgeous, vastly improved, even better than new, from the somewhat worn, scratched, discolored state before the work. Details: - This was about 1000 sq ft of natural hickory 5" laminate planks (on a pad) with big dog damage, a couple spots of water damage, and general wear and tear and discoloring from age. Mostly in living, dining, and family rooms and halls. - The refinished floor, with the finishes Dorel used, looks better than new! - Dorel: -- is very professional -- Does what he says he will -- Keeps you informed and communicates clearly and completely -- Is always on time -- Leaves the job in an immaculate state at the end of each day -- Is on the job site all the time work is being done and did all the work himself, with some assistance from a son -- Is very knowledgeable about all things related to the floors These hardwood floors are essential to the soul of the house, so one only wants to trust this work to the best professionals who take artistic pride in their work. "The renovation turned out great, very happy with the finished product! There were some delays throughout the project that resulted in it taking months longer than expected. Various factors affected that timeline such as the pandemic, staff and product availability. There were also some additional costs not captured in the estimate, however this is not entirely unusual in renovation projects. Overall, they were professional and maintained regular communication about the project status and made sure we were happy with how things turned out."

"They were on time and worked hard all day. There was one mistake made. They knew I was getting a new hood vent and the final measurements did not take into consideration that the new hood had different measurements than the old one. A new quartz backsplash had to be fabricated. They completed the project in one day. There was an issue with my flooring that I'm still waiting to be resolved. I don't know yet if I would hire them again."
