They make it a point to tell you everything that is wrong and give out a very good estimate of the repair including the items that need replacing (part numbers included). They came very highly recommended by friends and colleagues and I have used them in the past. For the $65 diagnostic on my truck they found that the water pump needed to be replaced. Along with that they recommended changing the thermostat while the water pump was out. They also stated that both radiator hoses needed replacement. The problem comes with the cost of repairs. Parts were quoted at 333.10 with Labor costing 468.77. When I looked up the actual cost of parts at the local parts dealer they came to 151.74. AA overcharged me by $165.25 more than double the cost of each part.After some research this repair should take a professional around 2 hours to complete making labor 3 hours @ 156.26. Although they are very nice and they did not lie about what needed repaired, they way overcharge for their service. I will not use them for the repairs. I highly recommend getting a second opinion before you use this company for anything more than an oil change to ensure you are not price gouged. He had to go under the home to remove wet insulation and install new. He also did a partial re-level. He rebuilt the vanity in one of the bathrooms. He removed and reset both toilets, painted the walls and doors in the bathrooms. In the master bath, the vanity is in the hallway going into the bathroom and the demo team tore the wood flooring from that area. He replaced that with tile. He removed the return duct for the A/C.
Our biggest issues are with the painting on the walls in the bathrooms and the vanity area in the master bath. In the hall bathroom, when he replaced the vanity top, the surface of the wall was still rough. When the demo team was in, they did some damage to the wall and instead of replacing the paneling, he tried to repair it with a filler material.
He was very unreliable, not showing up on time and, sometimes, not at all. What should have been a two week job was drawn out to a month and a half.
He had to cut around the A/C vents in the floor, but they were not cut properly. The vent itself had fallen into the opening, when I checked the vent, I discovered that he had hammered the vent down, leaving an opening so air was coming from outside the home into the vent.
While they were replacing the flooring, a worker fell through the floor. When this happened, the vent fell as well, and they just left it there. We requested that he move the return duct to another location because it was in a bad spot. The return duct was outside all day, dust and debris from him cutting tile in the yard went into the duct. I told him about it and asked him if he would vacuum it out. He said he didn't get anything in it. I then vacuumed it myself and cleared it of debris. I also discussed with him the filter in the duct. I went to change the filter and wasn't able to open the area where the filter goes in. When I brought this to his attention, he said it would open. He opened it by pulling very hard, which I cannot do. When I explained this to him, he said he would fix it by putting a small piece of trim on it. I told him this will not work because the trim will eventually break. He said he would fix that by putting nails in it."},"url":"https://www.angi.com/companylist/us/az/yuma/john-k%27s-renovations-reviews-7470785.htm"},"position":10}]}

$28 for the 2nd level cleaning (not even the high end) ... One guy was doing vacuuming for all cars coming in. The process was really slow. They called me out to my vehicle (like it was done) well before it was completed. Then when the man that was cleaning told me it was done, there were...

"American Home Shield (AHS) warranty is replacing my broken microwave with a new one. I received the new microwave on 11/11/2020 and notified AHS it was in my possession. Part of the warranty contract includes the installation of the new microwave. AHS typically assigns contractors themselves. However, this time AHS contracted with C & R Services with a dispatch number on 11/13/2020 for C & R to assign a local contractor to do the install. After two weeks of waiting and not being contacted by C & R or a contractor, I called C & R to follow up on the status. They said it would be 1 to 2 weeks from the date they received the dispatch from AHS. I informed them it had been 2 weeks in which they replied that it would be another 2 weeks. As of today, 12/11/2020, 4 weeks from the date C & R received the dispatch, I have not been contacted by C & R or a contractor. C & R's lack of communication and customer service is absurd. AHS informed me that they do not have any authority over C & R."

"My chest freezer broke down and I did not want to buy a new one since I could not afford the same size. I reached out to appliance parts pro and they were confident that what I ordered would fix my problem. $200 in parts later and I now have a broken freezer on my porch and am still paying the loan to this terrible company. They just want you to order parts and try them because they know you can't return them. I hate this company with every fiber of my being and will make sure that anyone that has a broken appliance will not use them. To top it off, their site is so screwed up that it give you an error trying to log back in. I ended up having to create THREE different accounts because every time I went to place a new order, it would not let me login and it would not send a password reset email. DON'T GET RIPPED OFF."

Appliancezone.com is a leading on-line retailer of appliance parts and accessories for do-it-yourself homeowners. Incorporated in 2008, it was started by CEO, Jim Allen and his wife Paula, who operated an appliance repair business for nearly fourteen years prior to starting the internet company Appliance Zone.
"This is the first online review I've ever written -- my experience with this company was that bad. Three aspects that deserve attention: 1) I placed an order and tried to cancel six minutes later. Turns out they don't accept cancellations. 2) I couldn't find a phone number, so I had to work the return/refund by email. The exchange was painful -- so unhelpful I felt like I was interacting with a bad chatbot. 3) I ended up eating shipping costs (expected) and got hit for a 50% restocking fee (unexpected) because I refused the package instead of paying to ship it back. Didn't matter that it went to the correct address, was clearly labeled, and had prior return authorization. So I ended up with a $21 refund on a $60 order, and a lesson learned about where not to buy appliance parts."

FAQs for kenmore vacuum repair projects in Yuma, AZ
Common repairs for central vacuum cleaners include motor repair, electrical repair, and blocked filters. Central vacuum motor issues typically come with a burning smell and loss of suction. With these issues, you might need simple lubrication to keep it running smoothly, or for more extreme problems, you could need a motor replacement.
Electrical problems or losing suction strength, might be reasons to swap out electrical components for new ones. However, a local central vacuum repair professional can tell you the best plan of action for your system.
The average cost for central vacuum cleaner repair is $310, though prices can range from $120 to $500. Your total cost will depend on the type of repair needed and the type of central vacuum you own.
A minor motor repair, like lubrication, only costs around $50. However, if you need to replace your motor, you’ll be looking at a much higher price tag with a total of $100 to $500. Other fixes, like electrical work, are charged by the hour, which ranges from $15 to $55per hour.
The answer to repairing vs. replacing appliances depends on the type of appliance, the severity of the issue or damage, and the quality of it. If you’ve purchased a top-of-the-line small appliance, it’s almost always more cost-effective to repair it than to replace it. You should also consider the cost to repair it, though. If the repair cost is more than half the cost of a new version, lean toward purchasing a new one. Your small appliance technician could also help you decide by determining the expected remaining lifespan after the repair.
Small appliance repair costs average around $50to $400, with costs ranging significantly based on the type of appliance, the extent of the damage, the issue, the appliance brand, and the availability of replacement parts. Generally speaking, you’ll pay less for repairs on very small appliances, like blenders and toasters, than you will for microwave repairs. We recommend consulting a small appliance repair technician for a quote before starting the project.
Small appliances typically include microwaves, toasters, toaster ovens, food processors, blenders, mixers, slow cookers, air fryers, coffee makers, rice cookers, and any other appliance that can sit on your countertop. Major appliances include refrigerators, dishwashers, ovens, cooktops, washers, and dryers. Some people may include HVAC equipment like condensers and air handlers in this category, too. Small appliances are more of a specialty, so there’s a good chance a typical appliance repair company won’t be able to service and repair small appliances.
