"After 3 bids we went with Yon. He listened to what we wanted and made suggestions commensurate with our goals. He advised us about the cost of certain detail work. He was very honest straightforward and easy to work with. When there were hiccups, he immediately let us know what was going on. When they picked up a 100% real wood, they picked up grains that would compliment our custom stain on 36 cabinets and 4 drawer fronts. Yon taught us a lot about his work and what his business would provide. What was real important is the entire project was his number one man Rafael! He is very fussy about what he gives to people as a professional. His custom cabinet refacing was superb workmanship. He made some suggestions and and we went ahead with his ideas and even though it's more than we planned, it's well worth it. Rafael had quite a time in these old park model cabinets. He kept my husband and I up-to-date with everything he was doing. Yon's last appointment was to to make honestly sure we were happy with the entire custom kitchen project. "I hate being condescended to. Listen to what I want and then give suggestions on how I might be able to work that out in my kitchen. Don't just tell me it can't be done. I felt like I was wasting my time. I asked about a particular type of closet (not realizing it was part of a bigger cabinet...how would I know) and she told me to follow her (using her finger to me like a child) and said I couldn't have it because it was as part of a bigger piece. She could have just said that. I said if I can't make my kitchen more "usable" (less wasted space), WHY to with custom cabinets. I could just reface. The woman behind me who was waiting to ask her a question said. Listen, if you can't get what you want, I don't blame you for not spending the money. It's easy to reface. So, I called another company and, low and behold, I'm getting partial refacing and partial custom cabinets. He came and we discussed HOW I could get my carousel cabinet (uh - he suggested I go from a double to a single sink - easy peasy) AND, he came in at half the price your website suggested I might pay. It is really nice to be listened to...especially when it's MY money I'm spending."
