"Landscape clearing which was done after several weeks. Brush was left for a week prior to finishing the job. Had to ask about it as a neighbor complained. House painting: The subcontractor crew used by Timothy was good. I would use them again. Timothy didn't do the work except for the front and back doors. Which were not painted until weeks later. The work was of such poor quality that the doors needed to be sanded, primed and repainted. Would not recommend Timothy to anyone. for landscape or painting."

If you have blown-in insulation, using an insulation vacuum will quickly and easily suck up all the insulation. Many come with built-in HEPA filters for added safety. While some people suggest breaking up large batts and feeding them into the vacuum, this can expose you to more fiberglass fibers. Installing mineral wool and sheep wool requires protective gear. Because of its vulnerability to insects, chemicals are used in its production. Hemp wool is more costly to install than other types because additional tools and labor are involved.

This means that regardless of how much the project costs, it can begin to pay you back immediately. Additionally, adding spray foam and other high-end materials can increase the selling value of the property.

A plastic vapor barrier should completely cover your basement to prevent water from penetrating through the walls. This typically goes before installing insulation to prevent moisture from building up and becoming trapped on the inside of your insulation, where it can collect and lead to mold damage. Installing insulation after the vapor barrier allows for any moisture to exit the walls for better ventilation.
