"Excellent experience with this company from initial meeting with Jason and owner, Krystal who came out to give estimate on 8/18/26. They were pleasant, courteous, Krystal explained everything in advance. We agreed to service and job was performed to perfection yesterday, 8/24/26. Team members Mario and Julio arrived on time. They were knowledgeable with 27+ years of experience. They swept up debris at completion, leaving our property clean. Our job was small, yet treated with the attention companies give big projects. We are very pleased with the job they did. We highly recommend their services! It was a pleasure dealing with Krystal and her team."

"Originally we hired MasterAZscapes to prepare a comprehensive landscape plan for our 35 year old home two years ago to completely remodel an old landscape. We were very pleased with the plan. MasterAZscapes is known for its tree planting services. It successfully did a complex large tree planting for our back yard two years ago, and the trees are healthy sailing through a damaging frost this winter. After putting the installation of the front and courtyard demolition out for bid, for this current project, we hired MasterAZscapes to demo the front yard, install the trees and plants, set up the drip system, install the wiring for future landscape lights, new rock, and install the artificial grass. We are thrilled with the completion of the front and courtyard areas which they completed on budget and less time than they originally predicted. The staff was superb and patient even after we changed our mind on placement of an important plant that was just not quite where we wanted it. With good humor, the staff re dug the planting hole moving it until we all were much happier with the result. The staff and ownership, across the board is talented, loves their job, and will work until the customer is happy. We are slowly implementing the original master plan and will look toward to MasterAZscapes in the future as we implement each project."

"Crown & Blade Turf did an excellent job on installing pavers in our courtyard. They were able to accommodate our delayed start, had product delivered on time, finished on time, and gave us great advice on what pavers to use and how to interlock them."

"The team at Alpha 2 Omega was amazing! Julio was the first person I spoke to, and he forwarded my call to their front office to set up an appointment with Ruben in the Sales. Ruben was punctual, professional, super knowledgeable, and easy to talk to without any pressure to get our business. He educated us as to what kind of pavers to use to last longer and were less expensive. He measured the areas to be paved and gave us various options of tiles to choose from and the cost. He gave us a written estimate and emailed it to us while he was answering our questions and concerns. After going through his estimate, we already had half a dozen more estimates and raised more questions to Ruben and he returned my calls promptly. We decided and went ahead with the job. Their price was in the middle compared to other pavers with more to offer. Their work started as planned and they cleaned up each afternoon and the project was completed without any glitches or surprise charges. On the contrary, they went the extra mile, and we added more work to be done. They installed a drip system in the front and the backyard. They recommended another company to help us install two pergolas in the backyard and helped us with the wiring through an electrician at no extra cost to us. We highly recommend this company for any kind of outdoor work such as installations of pavers, water fountains, and so much more. The team was incredible, and we are going to call them soon to work in front of our home. Please donâ t miss out on the quality work, knowledgeable crew, and a highly experienced company where customers come ahead of their profits!! Thank you, Ruben, Julio, and to your fantastic and hardworking crew!! Ron and Heidi"

Paving Services questions, answered by experts

Wet cutting is usually the preferred method. It controls dust, which helps protect your lungs and makes for a cleaner working environment. Plus, the water cools the blade, preventing overheating and prolonging its life while providing smoother, more precise cuts. The downside is the mess—water and asphalt sludge can be messy to clean. Dry cutting, though convenient if water isn’t available, creates a lot of dust, which can be harmful. This also increases the risk of blade damage due to overheating. So, if you have the option, wet cutting is the better method for most asphalt jobs.

Your driveway contractor will probably recommend that you avoid driving on your new millings driveway for up to a week. Keeping pressure off the freshy applied millings will help the driveway to bind together. While the sun is helpful for binding millings, hotter weather can actually make the curing process take longer.

A driveway approach is the part of a driveway where the public road meets the private driveway. This section contains several key elements, including the driveway apron, the curb cut, and the end slope. Depending on the slope of the driveway, this area may also contain the trench drain.

If you notice minor cosmetic problems with your driveway, you should seal it. Look out for cracks and holes on the surface, faded asphalt or concrete, and stains from oil and other chemicals. Replacing your driveway may be necessary if you’re dealing with significant problems—¼-inch cracks, large potholes, and puddles from drainage issues. The cost to install an asphalt driveway typically ranges between $4,200 and $9,000, significantly more than resealing. Consider talking to a professional to discuss whether resurfacing your driveway—a midway project between resealing and replacing—is a better option for you.

Gravel is the cheapest way to extend a driveway. Gravel is an affordable, practical option that’s easy to install and perfect for DIY projects, helping you save on labor costs. It can be quickly spread and leveled to create extra driveway space without heavy preparation. While gravel doesn’t offer the same durability or finished look as concrete or asphalt, its low cost makes it ideal for budget-conscious homeowners who want a functional solution without overspending.
