"Scott came out on short notice and was very professional and had my Vesta Softener installed and running in minimal time. I am very pleased with the system so far and given Scott & Zak's kind, courteous, non-pushy nature, I am convinced if I ever had any issues or needed help, both of them would be "Johnny-on-the-spot" and would step up to help me out. I highly recommend these guys for anyone needing a water softener, RO System or just advice for their water needs."
"I rarely give any service provider five stars but Jake of Local Plumbing LLC far exceeded my expectations. Having dealt with other plumbing companies, I found Jake’s service well above those I’ve previously dealt. He installed a Rinnai tankless water heater without any ‘uh-ohs’. He’s not Jake from State Farm, he’s even better."
"Had Flo Pro Plumbing come and change out my hose bib and water pipes in my side yard. They did a great job, very responsive and fair. Will be my go to in the future!"
"I called several plumbing companies and all were way over priced. This company came and inspected my leak and quoted me a price that was a third or more cheaper than the other companies. They fixed my leak under my sink and didn't break my bank. Excellent service and I'm one picky person. Thank you Mr. Horton. You were absolutely amazing and professional. No BS, told me what I needed done and explained it in detail so not to confuse me. While the other companies tried adding more things as I explained to Mr. Horton. He told me right from the start, those things don't need to be done, just the elbow and a small portion of pipe needs to be replaced. Up front and honest."
"Great! I contacted Rich for options on a water softener. He provided the quotes and information that I needed without high sales pressure. When he came to my home to install, I found him to be knowledgeable, efficient, and friendly. He took the time to explain things to me and to look at other potential plumbing needs. His service was offered at a fair and reasonable price. While I hope not to need a plumber too often, I will call him again."
"Let me begin by saying I never write reviews, but I wanted to share my wonderful experience with Aquaco, LLC. After sitting down with several water softening companies my husband and I, we are retired military, decided to go with Aquaco, LLC. We dealt directly with the companyâ s owner Glenn, who was very knowledgeable and informative. Glenn is such a pleasure, he has a great sense of humor, which we could all use coming out of the year we all just had. He answered all our questions and the cost/warranty of the units cannot be beat, so the only thing left was to schedule. Fast and efficient service, and once the units are installed they begin to make a world of difference in your life, everything changes. The installation went quickly and neatly. The installers ( Fidel and Jorge) were friendly, professional and they go over everything with you. The Water Softener has honestly made our shower feel like a spa. My itchy, dry skin is a thing of the past, my skin feels healthier and more vibrant. The Filtration System has remarkably improved our drinking water and the clear ice cubes are great, no more bottled water. We now have peace of mind about our homes pipes and plumbing. Thereâ s the obvious advantages like making housework easier, sparkling shower doors, sparkling dishes, cleaner clothes and all in all saving us money in the long run. We highly recommend Aquaco LLC. Thanks so much for superb work!"

"I told my wife I expected to pay X amount of dollars for the repairs that we needed. When the representative from easy flow came to our home, he gave us an estimate that was $45 less than what I told my wife it would cost to repair the water problem we had. I would like to thank the entire team of easy flow from Christy Amy, Logan Manny and Spencer too you guys are great."
A water softener is a worthwhile investment if you live in an area with hard water. While hard water is safe to drink, it contains minerals like calcium and magnesium that can cause significant problems over time. These minerals build up inside pipes, reducing water flow and eventually corroding the plumbing system, which can lead to leaks and a shortened lifespan. Hard water also damages fixtures and appliances, potentially resulting in costly repairs. Additionally, it makes soaps and detergents less effective, meaning you'll use more product to get things clean. By installing a water softener, you can prevent these issues. The initial investment is often recouped through long-term savings, including lower energy bills, reduced appliance and plumbing maintenance, and spending less on soap and cleaning supplies. Other benefits include cleaner linens, dishes, and clothing, as well as softer water that is gentler on your skin and hair. In some areas, a water softener can also increase your home's value, making it a valuable long-term investment.
Because it’s been through the water cycle, evaporating and becoming slightly acidic thanks to dissolved carbon dioxide in the atmosphere, rainwater tends to be naturally soft compared to groundwater, which has just been in contact with limestone. However, the natural hardness level of water always depends on where you are and other factors.
The most effective way to fix hard water in your shower is by installing a whole-home water softening system. This system treats water as it enters your home, removing the minerals that cause hardness before they can reach your shower or any other fixtures. While this is the most comprehensive solution, other methods are often temporary fixes. For a more affordable and shower-specific option, you can install a water-softening showerhead or a shower filter. However, these filters are generally less effective and may not remove all the contaminants that lead to limescale and hard water stains. By implementing a water softening solution, you can expect a reduction in mineral deposits and enjoy the benefits of cleaner-feeling hair and skin.
While it depends on how complicated the unit and installation is, it takes two to four hours to install a water softener unit, on average. It might take longer if pipes need to be replaced. You should make sure the installation area is clear of any objects that might get in the way before you begin.
Softener systems extend appliance life spans, improve skin and hair health, and reduce pipe buildup by removing minerals like calcium and magnesium.
