I have been a customer of Howard Air for many years and always had good service. In May of 2025 I had a Trane Unit installed in my townhome. Mark Miller did the first inspection since the installation and I was very pleased with his service. He was above board in all explanations and provided an excellent report.

Howard Air is pretty amazing. Their customer service is by far the best I've experienced in years. I feel these days no one cares about people or service. Every step of the experience with Howard Air has been a breath of fresh air. From scheduling an appointment, the service appointment and after the service. Cody was professional and knowledgeable. Punctual, courteous and went above and beyond. I needed a new motor and fan but the fan had to be ordered and I could've continued using the AC but at risk of catastrophic failure which would require a new AC unit. He said it could be 5-10 days. I didn't expect to see him for at least a week. He came back within 15 minutes and said he found one and will go pick it up. I'm up and running because Cody cared. Thank you Cody. Howard Air was very fast in responding to our emergency- it was 118 and our upstairs A/C died. We had it since the house was built 33 years ago. They had a new unit out to our house and installed the next day. The staff was very professional and polite. I would highly recommend Howard Air to anyone in need of HVAC work!

The Install Tech team of Gus and Tyler arrived on time, they were prepared, knowledgeable, courteous, and professional. They explained all aspects of the install, so we knew what to expect. We are pleased with the new AC unit and are very pleased with our entire experience with Howard air!

This was a nightmare AC install. The initial install took 15 hrs due to issues getting the new system in the attic space. Along the way there were multiple scratches on my staircase (could have been avoided if they would have been careful), multiple scratches on the door going in to the install space (could have been avoided by removing the door), large amounts of insulation in duct system which then was sprayed out of every vent at 10pm when the system was tested (could have been avoided by covering up duct in attic space). All of this led to me having to take off work multiple days for drywall/painting repair and professional duct cleaning service. Could have been avoided if install team would have been more conscientious of what they were doing. Getting Howard Air to remedy all of these problems they caused was like pulling teeth. They made feel as if I was being nit picky with the issues. Six weeks later things are finally fixed. I DO NOT recommend Howard Air!

Howard Air has been our service provider for many year with 2x a year maintenance visits. When the entire A/C system had to be replaced they worked with us throughout the process. We were extremely happy with the entire installation process and the crew was wonderful, getting it done in a day so as not to inconvenience our very elderly parents

Do not use Howard Air! I am extremely disappointed with their service and practices.** Howard Air installed a new AC unit in my rental property, and despite having a maintenance contract with them, they completely failed when it mattered most. My tenant was recovering from a double transplant when the AC stopped working, and the house heated up to over 100 degrees. Given the circumstances, I thought I could count on Howard Air to act responsibly and promptly. Instead, they took advantage of the situation. Despite the AC being under warranty and them being the only company to service it, I was slapped with an **outrageous after-hours fee of $149** for a technician who arrived at 3:00 PM. On top of that, I was coerced into purchasing their “Howard Aircare” service for **$198**. To add insult to injury, I was charged **$158** to fix a wire that they had improperly installed in the first place, and a whopping **$484** for a thermostat that I could have bought on Amazon for just **$46**! The total bill came to **$986**! To make matters worse, they claimed the repair wasn’t covered under warranty because the thermostat wire was worn through due to their improper installation—something they clearly knew about. It feels like they exploited my tenant's dire situation to rip me off. I’ve tried to reach out for a resolution, but a manager won’t call me back, and the person I spoke to promised a refund that has yet to materialize. **Save yourself the headache and avoid Howard Air at all costs!** They are all about greed and lack any sense of responsibility.

Patrick Bailey and crew did an outstanding job installing a 5 ton zoned system in our house, all in one day, albeit a very long day. They arrived promptly at 6:30 in the morning, wrapped up at 8:30 PM. These are among the hardest working people I have ever seen. The are detailed, well organized and quality conscious. They took great care while working in our home, did the clean up afterwards, every thing returned to the condition before they started. The system worked on the first try and we are very pleased with the work. Kudos to Patrick Bailey and team.

We had Ken come and do some routine maintenance. He showed up right on time. Ken got to work immediately on our 2 a/c units. Gave us full assessment report. Very professional. This was for the fall inspection. I have a contract with Howard Air for maintenance. They kept me informed about the technician’s arrival time. He came on time, was polite, wore shoe coverings and explained things well. He had pictures of the units on the roof. And was able to show me one problem.

I wanted to give a shout out to representative Scott Bird of Howard Air. Mr. Bird came to my home to analyze my current heat pump system and discuss a new system. From the moment of contact he proved himself exceptionally professional and knowledgeable. He took the time to inspect my unit on the roof, take measurements, inspect my attic and my air return, as well as my insulation and other aspects in the home influencing my heating/cooling needs. He was respectful of my property and my health. He provided me with extremely useful information about how heat pumps and ducts work and how to ascertain my specific needs for my home. From my current research both online and in person I had many questions which he took the time to answer. He didn't try to upsell me or push any particular product, but rather gave a thorough analysis of my current system and what I would need if I were to replace it with a reliable and efficient new system. Needless-to-say, I was impressed enough to take the time to write this review. I will definitely be considering Howard Air when making my final decision.

Denis did a great job. He was on time and did a great job checking over the equipment. He was very thorough, cleaned the coils on the condenser and made sure the condensation line was clear. Now I'm ready for the summer!

They did not do anything physically to troubleshoot our problem. They just gave us an outrageous quote to modify our system to their desires. We called another Air conditioning company and they came out and found the problem with the inoperable unit with in 15minutes after arrival and had the unit up and running.

Howard air has been our maintenance contractor since we bought the house in 2004. All systems were in before that and they kept them in good shape, but rather than waiting for a JULY breakdown we were pro active in replacing the whole thing.We got 4 quotes and they were all over the place. We chose Howard for a number of reasons: Hector ,the salesperson was very professional and thorough in his presentation.also we were satisfied with all our prior work with them. We agreed with their quote(even though it was above the other contractors because quality and reputation counts as well as $. They scheduled install and the crew was right on time and finished in 1 day. Hector came over to inspect and we found a few very minor issues. The repairs were finish in a timely fashion and personable staff was on sight and helpful. They were thorough with their explanations. A good company with good recommendations goes far with me. I recommend Howard air.It was a costly job but I am confident in our choice.

It went well. No issues with my system. The technician said I would need system cleaned but could defer until next maintenance call in the Spring. Did not pressure me to spend the extra money now.
