"I put down a deposit for my project around June 2024, with the agreement that work would begin in January 2025. The deposit was supposed to secure my materials. In December 2024, I asked if they could start earlier and complete the project by Christmas. They agreed but couldn't begin until December 26th—not a big issue since the original start date was January. However, the real frustration began here. One of the pavers I selected was on backorder, and I had to order more than originally needed just to meet their supplier’s minimum requirement. This meant paying extra and waiting over four weeks to keep my design. [ My deposit DID NOT SECURE MY MATERIALS ] Despite my frustration, I agreed. Then, on February 19th, I received a message saying they would resume work in two days. I waited—no one showed up. I followed up on February 22nd and was told they would come on the 22nd or 23rd. Again, no show. I rearranged my schedule multiple times to accommodate these delays. Finally, on February 24th, they showed up and continued the work. Now, as of March 5, 2025, the installation is complete, but there are still unresolved issues—irrigation not working, scratches on the gate and wall, leftover project trash and other cosmetic problems. I have to reach out daily to ask if someone is coming to fix these, only to be met with delays and rescheduling. If you’re looking for a company that delivers decent work but terrible communication and scheduling, this is it. Their inability to set clear timelines or communicate properly has been beyond frustrating."

From start to finish, the job was plagued by poor communication, unprofessional behavior, and a lack of accountability. We feel misled, overcharged, and left with incomplete and subpar work. **Key Issues:** 1. **Invoice Inaccuracies** - The initial invoice labeled as an estimate was never updated to reflect the actual scope of work. We were charged for tasks, like concrete removal, that weren’t even performed. - Despite the work remaining unfinished, Rooter Ranger pushed to collect payment prematurely, making us question their commitment to completing the job. 2. **False Promises** - The company assured us they’d assist with the insurance process and provide a non-invasive solution for pipe repairs. Both claims turned out to be false. We had to seek external help for insurance, and despite promises, they wanted to damage our kitchen floor and we had to come up with a solution that came with additional cost unaccounted for. 3. **Dishwasher Oversight** - A critical error involving the dishwasher line was ignored until we identified it. This required additional, costly fixes that Rooter Ranger failed to cover or manage professionally. 4. **Workmanship Issues** - Structural mistakes, uneven concrete, and poorly installed plumbing were common throughout the job. For instance, toilets were installed improperly, and the master bathroom plumbing still leaks. 5. **Permit and Inspection Failures** - The permit process was mismanaged, leading to failed inspections. Rooter Ranger failed to communicate inspection results and left us to manage issues with city inspectors. At this point I still don't know if we passed inspection 6. **Unprofessional Conduct** - The revolving door of inexperienced workers made it feel like we were relying on unqualified friends rather than professionals. - We have called leaders, supervisors and directors about issues and everyone we have talked with has since dropped the ball and communicated property or taken any sense of accountability. In summary, our experience with Rooter Ranger was unacceptable. Their poor communication, unprofessionalism, and lack of quality control left us frustrated and forced to handle their oversights ourselves. We still have leaks, we feel we have been ripped off and still no idea we have passed city inspection. We would not recommend this company to anyone seeking reliable or professional plumbing services."

I know hiring someone on a hunch is not the best way to hire someone. But I did that; I fell in love with the beautiful logo Above All Home Services LLC had chosen for company’s calling card and website. However, in full disclosure, I did not select Above All Home Services LLC, only because of the logo. I was eager to find a competent individual to do the installation for me. I also read the ton of five-star reviews that Above All Home Services LLC received from satisfied customers. After meeting the two professionals (Jeff and son-in-law), I felt like I had made the right decision, and that was even more evident after they completed the project. They were extremely polite and did a fantastic job installing the new garbage disposal. After the work was completed, they cleaned up, but it was not hard because they never made a mess during installation, so cleaning was easy. After these two genuinely nice and competent gentlemen completed the job, they checked several times and ways to make sure there were no leaks – there were none; I highly recommend Above All Home Services LLC. They were timely, did the job in a judicious fashion, and made sure everything was clean before they left. More importantly, the job was professionally done. Kudos to Jeff and his and his son-in-law for the wonderful job – well done fellows. I might add, sometimes it pays to make a serendipitous decision.
