"I couldn’t be happier with the work done by Anchor Collective. From the initial estimate to the final walkthrough, the entire process was professional, transparent, and stress-free. The crew arrived on time, worked efficiently, and paid close attention to every detail. The quality of the concrete work exceeded my expectations—the finished product looks fantastic and has completely transformed the appearance of my home. It’s clear they take pride in their craftsmanship and don’t cut corners. Communication throughout the project was excellent. They answered all of my questions, kept me informed every step of the way, and left the job site clean and organized when the work was completed. If you’re looking for a reliable, honest, and skilled concrete company, I highly recommend this company. It’s refreshing to work with a contractor who delivers exactly what they promise. I would absolutely use them again for future projects."

"Fantastic! Right from the start Mr Perry laid out steps he would be taking, in getting a level, structured pasture. He would always call ahead to check if access to the property. My soil was like concrete. He would work the soil repeadily over a few months. When he decided the soil was ready, he waited for the best planting time(no frosts). He leveled the pasture with precion. Then planted the seed. I just irrigated the pasture today. The water flowed on a perfect flat flow! The work he accomplished was perfect. He is honest, straight forward, and highly knowledgeable."

"Dylan accepted my job offer during a challenging time of wild winter weather. He showed up on time, communicated well throughout the process, and worked diligently. I truly appreciate his efforts! I wish it had been possible to remove all the ice from the rain gutters, too, but we didn’t want to risk damaging them as they were rock solid. Thank you, Dylan."

Concrete Cutting questions, answered by experts

Since water heaters are primarily made of metal, they’re commonly accepted by scrap yards and collectors. Don’t expect to fetch a high price, though—water heaters are mostly steel and aluminum, which aren’t high-value metals. Some components are made of more valuable metals, like brass and copper, but they’re a small portion of the heater and won’t affect the price much.

Yes, you can cut up a box spring., but you’ll need to do so in layers. You can clear the fabric and fluff away to reveal the springs before removing them as well.

Choosing the right metal fabricator for your project begins with research. Find a reputable fabrication company by searching for reputable contractors in your area, and then reviewing photos of their previous work, customer reviews, and photos of the company’s workshop.

Once you’ve narrowed down the list, contact the companies to ask about the types of metal fabrication projects they specialize and inquire about guarantees and warranties on workmanship. You should also ensure the company uses high-quality material, and ask about the schedule and turnaround time for your proposed project.

It will likely take an experienced pro less than an hour to install a ground rod, which is another reason why letting them handle the job is such a good idea. Safety concerns aside, it would likely take you much longer to install a ground rod if you decided to take this one as a DIY job.

There are a few things you can ask welders before you hire them to get an idea of their experience and ability levels:

  • Are you licensed and certified?

  • How long have you been in the welding business?

  • Do you commonly do the type of welding I need?

  • Do you offer any kind of warranty for your work?

  • Do you charge by the hour or by the project?

  • How long do you expect my welding project to take?

  • What steps do you take to minimize errors in your work?
