Based in Tempe, AZ serving residential & commercial clients throughout the state of Arizona. It is a family business. We have a quality range of services, fair pricing, and complete customer satisfaction. Reliability and punctuality are just as important to us as a job well done, so we make it a priority to adhere to these critical business values. We take great pride in what we do and it shows in our work.

"Contractor sent person to provide estimate which initially came out to $5400 with my Angie's list discount of $500. Young man providing estimate called owner and confirmed price. As he was preparing to leave he said he needed to recheck his measurements and told me he miscalculated and the actual cost of the job would be much higher. Long story short the new price was $6000. So much for the discount. I was told that the owner would reach out to me and unfortunately that never happened until a week later and one day before I hired Pro Pave to complete my paving job. I will be doing a review on Pro Pave who did a timely and excellent jod and are also recommended by Angie's List. As per Road Tech Paving please beware of this company and their poor business practices. I'm surprised that Angie's List recommends them ~ I certainly wouldn't."

"Fantastic! Right from the start Mr Perry laid out steps he would be taking, in getting a level, structured pasture. He would always call ahead to check if access to the property. My soil was like concrete. He would work the soil repeadily over a few months. When he decided the soil was ready, he waited for the best planting time(no frosts). He leveled the pasture with precion. Then planted the seed. I just irrigated the pasture today. The water flowed on a perfect flat flow! The work he accomplished was perfect. He is honest, straight forward, and highly knowledgeable."

Asphalt Driveways questions, answered by experts

Asphalt can get sticky in high temperatures and intense sunlight and is better for cooler or moderate climates, while concrete is more likely to crack in colder climates where water can seep into the slab and freeze. Asphalt requires more maintenance in terms of sealing, it has a slightly shorter lifespan, on average, and it’s a bit more expensive to install. Concrete will last longer with less maintenance, and it offers you more options for customization, including staining and stamped patterns. As such, a concrete driveway adds to home value more than an asphalt driveway in many cases.

The answer to whether or not you need to get a permit before you start your driveway can vary widely based on local ordinances and the scope of your driveway ideas. In most urban and suburban areas, a permit is needed before building a new driveway to ensure that a homeowner is using safe materials and proper drainage practices while designing and constructing a new driveway. In some rural areas, a homeowner may not be required to apply for a permit. When building a new driveway on your own, always check with your local building department to see if you need to request a permit. When hiring a driveway contractor, verify that the right permits are being used before driveway construction begins.

Gravel is one of the few driveway materials that can handle rain the second it’s installed. Unlike asphalt, which needs days to set, or concrete, which requires weeks to cure, gravel is ready as soon as it’s compacted. It’s naturally permeable, allowing water to drain straight through—with no risk of pooling or surface damage. Gravel driveways are one of the most affordable, at $1 to $3 per square foot, and can also last upward of 100 years.

Like all driveway materials, asphalt can crack in the wrong conditions and with age. Many things can cause asphalt to crack, including shifting soil or settling under the foundation. Other common causes are driving oversized vehicles on the asphalt, tree roots, and using rock salt during the snowy season. Proper installation and sealing the driveway every 10 years can help prevent cracks.

Yes, it is possible to pave over an existing driveway depending on the existing condition and type of material you plan to use. Factors to consider include current driveway condition, compatibility of the new material, thickness, surface prep, and driveway height.
