"Once I sent her all the measurements, it took her a little while to get the options back to me.  Overall, they're good designs.  However, they're very simplistic and give general ideas for space planning.  I was hoping to have a better idea for sizes of furniture for the space and some variations on staging.  
Jill was very responsive when I did have a question.  I'm not sure how helpful it is to have a virtual design done.  If we lived in similar cities, I'd probably use her again for help with additional designs.

"I enclosed my entranceway before I got the proper permits necessary; (don't do that by the way). Jose drafted the required plans, to obtain the permits I needed. Jose is very detail oriented, which when your dealing with city bureaucracy is a good thing. Jose was almost always available when I called, and the few times that he wasn't, he got back to me promptly. Jose accompanied me downtown to apply for the permits, which I got. The plans were very professional, and when the inspector came to my house to check the work that was done,he looked at the plans, and said as much. I have another project in mind, if the Gods, aka the HOA grant me permission, I will hire Jose again. As a side not FYI try to get a fix on what the permits will cost you, so you don't get hit with a form of sticker shock like I did. Let's just say that I was unpleasantly surprised. I sure would like to know how the city comes up with these exorbitant prices for permits, or maybe I wouldn't."
