Hello Everyone! My name is Kaleb King, I am 22 years old currently Active Military, serving in the U.S. Air Force with a dream and hope of giving my life some meaning and direction. With this dream, I have decided to start an owner-operated business specializing in floor installation (Laminate, Carpet, Tile and Vinyl). This business only includes myself, for I am the only one I could convince to see light at the end of this tunnel. I have been installing flooring 4 years unprofessionally and unlicensed but my work speaks volumes. I am not far from receiving my license, I am very understanding of financial situations and readily prepared to ensure you never go without your necessities. I vow to each and every customer that they will be cared for to the best of my abilities. Your success is my success! Feel free to reach me at (337) 379-0459

"4 MONTHS LATER AND MY SHOWER IS STILL NOT DONE! How long does it take to build a shower??? Has 3 different names for his business. Advertising that he can tile a shower but does not employ a tile layer. Gives you deadlines that work will be completed and does not meet them. Tells you he will be at your house and never shows up. Sends his crew 2 days out of every 7. Ask's for 60% down payment and then will ask for more money before job is completed. Told me multiple times that he was bringing counter tops from Tucson then would show up empty handed, then told me the company has stopped returning his phone calls. His crew does sloppy work however he never checks on them from day to day. 3 months my side yard was left a huge mess; cigarette butts dropped by his crew, cut tile, wet cement, dry wall leaning against my house, tools, trash. Had to completely rip out the first shower that was built because of sloppy workmanship and leaking floor. Save yourself nightmares and headaches....DONT USE THIS CONTRACTOR! He is dishonest, does not meet deadlines, his workmanship is below standard. ROC, BBB had to get involved for resolutions."

We do full bathroom remodels. If you're only looking to remodel part of your bathroom, like converting a tub to a shower or vice versa, we can do that too!

"The short version of my opinion on this company can be summed up in a single word. Sloppy. So many aspects of the remodeling job were done in a sloppy manner that I cannot recommend them to anyone. Here are a few of the items that come to mind. The deposit on the job was charged twice and wasn’t refunded until I called and complained. Next, we waited eight weeks for the material to be sent with no updates on the order then suddenly we were only given one days’ notice that the workers were ready to start the job. When the workers did arrive, they rushed through the job and as a consequence, put gouges in the bathroom drywall, they didn’t install the faucet hardware correctly, and the doors were not installed correctly as one just stopped rolling on its track the next day. Also, we had to argue with them about the features of the unit including shelving, grab bar, and height of the enclosure to the point where we had to show them the contract. They were so far on the installation that they ended up not even being able to install the grab bar. The shelves were installed, but only glued in place. It is amazing that they didn’t review the contract before beginning the job. When I complained to the owner about this, he told me that I should have waited and not done the project in August when it was 110 degrees and that I should have waited for the “fake COVID-19 issue” to go away. The last comment was because we insisted that anyone who was working in the house wear a mask. Again, we waited eight weeks for the replacement to the original door and the owner was irritated that I called to ask about the status of the door. Just as before, we were only given one days’ notice before the door was replaced. When the worker came by to replace the door he didn’t install it correctly again. It stopped rolling on its track the next day. After repeated requests and statements from the owners stating that it would be fixed, no one has come out to fix their sloppy workmanship. Bottom line, I wish I would have never dealt with this company as there are so many other reputable remodeling companies out there. Perform your due diligence before contracting with someone so you won’t have the same experience."

Modular and mobile home remodels FAQs

The typical mobile home renovation costs around $20,000, with a normal range of $10,000 to $20,000 for a single-wide and $15,000 to $30,000 for a double-wide. Your total will depend on a bunch of factors, including the quality of materials you use (for things like the cost of new mobile home flooring and plumbing fixtures), how much your contractor charges, and the size of your mobile home. The extent of the remodel matters as well. If you’re doing a full gut renovation, you can expect to add between $10,000 and $20,000 to your base price.

Below are some questions we recommend asking a contractor before hiring them for your mobile home remodel:

  • Do you specialize in mobile home work? If not, have you done it in the past?

  • Are you licensed and fully insured?

  • Can you share a list of referrals?

  • Will you subcontract any of the work?

  • Will you handle permits for the mobile home renovation, if applicable?

You can also ask your contractor about their work and payment schedules, as well as a timeline for the project completion so that you’re both on the same page.

There are a few things you can do to keep your bathroom remodel as affordable as possible in your mobile home:

  • Ask your contractor to replace caulk and grout rather than retiling

  • Ask your professional to refinish your tub/shower rather than replacing

  • Upgrade your sink fixtures rather than replacing the sink

  • Upgrade cabinet hardware and ask your remodeler to refinish the cabinets

  • Avoid changing the layout of your bathroom

Any professional that does work on a traditional home with a permanent foundation can work on a mobile home as well. However, it’s best to find a company that specializes in mobile home work. Not only will this help ensure your contractor has the experience necessary to get the job done properly, but it will also save you time in the research phase.

Some general contractors, plumbers, and electricians won’t agree to work on mobile homes, even though they’re licensed to, in large part because of the specialized skills needed to anticipate and fix problems that may arise during construction.
