"Great service..I had been having ongoing problems with the main drain backing up.The only cleanout I had was a 2" by my master bathroom.Jon came out on Friday and cleared the line using that cleanout so I could use water in the house until the real problem could be fixed.Jon and his men came first thing on Tuesday and using a camera located tree roots almost completely blocking the main drain to sewer. They dug up a good size hole(which took a full day) to remove the roots and install a cleanout up to code. The dirt in my yard is like concrete so this was no easy task. When they were done my yard looked better than when they started. At every step I was told and they showed me what they were doing.Jon is a real professional and his men as well. The communication throughout was top notch.I highly recommend All Star Plumbing.
PS.I had also gotten an estimate on Friday from a very well known plumbing/ac company and it was alot more.

"This company reached out to us right away and scheduled for our tank to be pumped out the next day. Surprisingly for us, they called and came out the same day. Their team of excellence got the job done efficiently and got our septic working again. I would highly recommend this company for all your plumbing needs."

Wells and Pumps questions, answered by experts

Common signs that your well pump is failing include fluctuating or consistently poor water pressure, sputtering water from faucets, or a complete loss of water. Other indicators are unusual noises coming from the pump, the pump running continuously, dirty or cloudy water, or a sudden, unexplained spike in your utility bills. While some issues, especially after a power outage, might be resolved by simply restarting the power or priming the pump, persistent problems suggest a more serious issue. If you notice any of these red flags, it is recommended to call a professional well pump service to inspect the system and determine whether it needs to be repaired or replaced.

Frozen well pipes make themselves known quickly, as your faucets slow down to a trickle or shut down completely. If you notice a serious reduction in flow in the winter from toilets, showers, kitchen faucets, and other plumbing fixtures, a frozen pipe or two is to blame. Another tell-tale sign is frost or ice on exposed pipes outside.

The average three to four-bedroom home typically uses a well pump rated for 8 to 12 gallons per minute (GPM). To find the most accurate size for your specific needs, a common rule of thumb is to count the number of water fixtures and appliances in your home and aim for that number in GPM. This calculation allows for about one gallon of water per minute per fixture. Because estimating the correct size can be challenging, it's best to have a professional technician make the final determination. A professional can ensure your pump provides sufficient water for your home, especially during peak usage hours.

A submersible pump should be at least 10 feet from the bottom of the well to minimize the risk of the pump drawing debris into the well water. Submersible pumps work best for wells that are 25 feet deep or less. If you have a deeper well, choose a jet pump instead of a submersible model.

Signs that your well is dry include a decrease in water pressure, strange odors coming from faucets, cloudy, bubbly, or discolored water, and water that’s warmer than normal. Signs that your well pump is bad are similar, but you may also notice higher-than-average electric bills, strange clicking sounds, and faucets that spit or sputter.
