"Mr. White actually arrived around 5:00 p.m. (earlier then estimated) and determined that the outlet had an internal short. He promptly repaired it, checked that everything worked and while we were talking, mentioned that his company did upgraded kitchen lighting. Told him we were interested in changing out the old light. Mr White gave us an estimate on taking out the old ugly flourescent light fixture and replacing it within the ceiling fixtures. The cost of the repair was $105.00, but because this was my first visit and that I found him on Angies's list, he took off $25.00. (This is also in his ad but I never noticed it until after he had left). The work was quick, complete and even with having to pull a ton of wires out of the wall box, there was no mess when he left. I believe we will hire his company to put new lighting in our kitchen."

"This was an Angie's Big Deal deal for 2 hours of installation services.
I first spoke to Jeremy, the owner, by phone, and told him I first needed a new A/V Receiver for our 5 channel surround system, since our old one had no HDMI capability.  He let me know they are a distributor of several brands and he recommended one for my system.  I ended up purchasing it from him as his price was below the price listed on Amazon.com.
Jeremy arrived a bit early but we were ready for him, so that was no problem.  He brought the Receiver with him and he went right to work.   
He finished after a little over 2 hours and everything works perfectly and our system now sounds terrific!!
He was clearly very knowledgeable and knew what he was doing, and was very friendly and willing to answer all of our questions. He will be the one we call when we need any more audio/video service!!

He made the repairs to our satellite connection and offered many valuable tips and lots of information as well.
He had the signal going through in no time.
I also needed 5 phone jacks installed and wiring repaired.
Due to time we made a separate appointment for that.

"AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."
