"Darrin came to my house today; and after telling him a really long story about my 3-4 week ordeal with "attic critter" and all I'd been through with "pest control" folks and "wildlife removal" folks, he went through my attic front to back, side to side, every inch of it and told me I had absolutely no evidence of rats or rodents of any kind (wildlife dude told me I definitely had rats and wanted almost $2000 to trap them and do a bunch of "exclusion" stuff and repairs to keep them from coming back!!). Unfortunately the location of what I suspected to be squirrel nest is all but inaccessible (high ceilings with sloped sides and all activity/sounds limited to slope area), but he looked under roof with a fiber optic camera thingy and could see "nesting material" -- not 100% certain about any babies but didn't detect any movement. He believes if I get the gutter/rotten wood replaced (there's a large hole behind gutter which is almost certainly the entry point) that should solve the immediate issue and then I can get other repairs done as my budget allows. I can't tell you how relieved I am and what a God send he turned out to be. He's definitely going to be my "pest guy" from now on and would highly recommend him to anyone."
