Horrible, Horrible, and more horrible company to use and the office lady will lie to you on top of that. A home inspection was done for a termite inspection so we can close on a home. Right now the we are on a hold up because Cook's won't release the report. Was told that the inpsection was done Friday and the report only takes one to two days to do. The lady didn't realize my wife had me on a three way call. She was telling my wife all these things until I jump in and made myself known where everything changed. Before I got off the call she told my wife oh the report is ready and it was done at 1:18 pm today. She ask for email to sent it but I jump off the call where everything change again. I had to get back to work and she told my wife it will take more time to send it. I went up to the Wolf Lake location and spoke to the lady asking for a manager where apparently one wasnt available and she stated that the regional manager had to sign off and she doesnt know when he will be back in. Please be aware if your using this company to close you might want to use another termite company cause they will hold your process up.

We use Cooks for everything. They come once a month. We've had them come for a long time, I know that. I think they do A on most everything. If they didn't, my husband would probably find somebody else to do that.

It went GREAT!! I am no longer battling ants everyday in my kitchen area. I've only seen 2 ants in the last 3 months!! Monthly service $41.00. Vents that automatically open & close 9 @ $65 each. Moisture barrier about $300. Total one time cost about 838.00

They were wonderful and good. They put new vents in the house. They did it on terms because we could not pay all at once. They sprayed for roaches and our house was infected with them and they cleared them up. It was successful and it worked for us. They put traps for rats and puts stuff to prevent termites. They are really on top of their game. They would call one day ahead to make sure the date was ok. If I call them and tell them I saw something they would make it their business to solve my problem. If they say they are going to be here at 11 they were here.

arrived earlier than expected, but called first. They returned for a second spraying at no extra cost, We also had pantry moths that they took care of, including checking every item in our pantry,

They charge $39 a month for the service. They do a super job and I haven't had a problem with them. They check my attic and other places to make sure there is no evidence of pests.

Living in an area where termites are known it is important to have a company that knows what they are doing and takes their job serious. They come out and check my house throughout the year. Also, I had some landscape done recently and needed them to come out and recheck to make sure everything was still up to par. They came right out, recevied a report that day. Great service. I have been doing pest control myself but considering using them to do my pest control in addition to termite.

They really went over and above the call of duty with me. When I called them they told me they could get me in the next day. I explained to them that I had a unique set of circumstances and would need somebody to come out right away. The gentleman agreed and was out to my place in 45 minutes.
He was very kind, courteous and professional. He took a thorough look at my situation and explained very clearly to me exactly what needed to be done. He was very truthful and did not try to take my for extra money by telling me the problem was bigger then it really was.
I was very pleased by my encounter with Cook's Pest Control and would recommend them to anyone.

I had contracts each for pest and termite control with Cook's. As far as their services, I have absolutely no complaints. My experience with their billing practices left me with a very bad taste in my mouth and for that I cannot recommend anyone using them. In trying to rectify the billing issues, I was informed by them that many people besides myself have complained about how poorly their billing practices are. In the first place, the monthly fees are a set price so you would think would be very easy to bill and pay. The termite contract however seems to be their way of collecting 'interest' on a non-financed product which is a SERVICE so beware.
For the pest contract, they have applied several add-on charges to which they cannot explain. I have repeated requested a printout of every billing and applied payment so that I could rectify with my records since I had proof of each payment. It's been one year and all they will provide me is a record that starts with a negative balance. I was paying online and always paid the balance they were showing but they told me I could not go by what was posted online. I'm now working with a very frustrated collection agency since they also do not seem to be having success getting the detail regarding my billing discrepancies.

sweeping the corners of the ceiling in my garage with Webster dust to get rid of the spiders and keep them away, as well as bringing the duster inside with an extender to get the cobwebs from the areas of my super-tall ceilings that I can't reach. He even changed my furnace filter for me!
I had asked Doran not to tell me the specifics about what sort of preventative and/or extermination measures he would be using in the attic because I feel kind of bad about it, and he was respectful of that. He didn't act like he thought I was crazy or soft or anything for feeling badly about forcing them to meet their demise (even though I know it's for the health of me, my family and my HOUSE).
Also, before he left, he plugged up a couple of entry points with copper wool to keep the rats from getting in there, and I had told him I had intended to buy some from Amazon.com. He told me not to bother... he'd bring me a box next time. When he said he'd be back to check the traps in seven days, I believed him. He's very personable, not at all weird like some bug guys are (no offense, bug guys), and he went above and beyond what I had tentatively expected.
My mother told me that the first time the tech had come to her house, he didn't do everything the initial-consult guy had promised. She called the office, and they sent another tech out that same day, who did a great job and continued to perform her service from there on out.
This is a good company that does the job right. What's more important, at least as far as I'm concerned, is that if you do NOT feel they did the job that they told you they would, they will make it right.

I liked the convenience they provided us. They came very quickly when I called them. What I did not like about them is that they examined the area too fast. I wonder if they thoroughly inspected our property for possible termite infestation. The price was a good value for money. I will not use them again in the future. I am considering other pest control companies.

I pay them monthly for service. They are not horrible, they are good enough. I do not do cartwheels over them. They come as scheduled, they do not miss they are always here. They are prompt. My house is not crawling with bugs. I do not know how to compare the price but I think it is fine. I think the billing is screwed up.
