TEXAS TREESI called Mike Fleming late last week and told him the landscape he put in last summer looked very sad because of our unusual cold weather. He came to my house the next day and assured me that everything looked normal and would come to life again. I engaged him to return and cut back the plants in preparation for spring. I also asked him to clean all the leaves and other inevitable debris from the yard. He sent his crew out 2 days later and they did a terrific job. Everything looks so much better. Joe Maldonado is in charge of the crew. He is completely dedicated to satisfying his customer. No one on his crew stands around on a shovel. He keeps them moving and gets the job done. As before, dealing with Texas Trees is a pleasure.- Billy J C.

TS PaintingThey even worked with the paint store (Sherwin Williams) to make sure that the color of the stain met our approval. They bent over backwards to help us in every way. The job was started on July 7 and finished on July 11. At times they had as many as 7 people working on the house at the same time in order to get the job done. The also cleaned all of our exterior windows some of which were on the second story.- Bill P.

Yard Works Custom LawnsThey are really professional and really good. We use them continually. They come the day that they say they are coming and do the work extremely well. We have a large house with a lot of shrubbery and just professional care is what these things need and they always come and they do everything top-notch. They always show up. They treat the lawn yearly. Unfortunately a lot of these companies are here today and gone tomorrow but this young gentleman started doing this out of school and he is doing it for years now. AirTecs Environmental serviced my home yesterday. In 6-8 hours, Mr. Burks and his crew, analyzed my mold testing results, searched and found additional problems and took care of it all. With each discovery, he emailed pictures and provided recommendations for repair. No surprises, and we stayed well within the submitted proposal. I am home and we couldn’t be more pleased. They showed up on time and got straight to work. Within a few hours the trees had been cut down and cut up for removal. They loaded everything up and left my yard looking great! These gentlemen were affordable, polite and professional.. 10/10 would recommend!!

From when the job was estimated, it was 2 months before it was started. Front yard was excavated to remove the gravel and replaced with sod. A lot of the gravel was left and very little prep was done to the surface. High and low spots throughout the entire front yard. Was charged for topsoil that was not brought to the job site. Also charged for the labor to spread the topsoil that wasn’t brought to the site. Several areas of sod was just placed straight on the existing gravel and placed on dry ground. Two different kinds of sod was laid because not enough was ordered to complete the job. After the sod was laid they didn’t even water it in. Astroturf was placed in the backyard. Surface was not prepared before the turf was put down. Highs and lows throughout the entire surface. Just laid down on the gravel without being compacted. Gaps left around the perimeter next to the house and flower beds where weeds will grow now. Didn’t order a big enough piece of turf to cover the area that was in the bid. After the job was completed no call from the owner or even a walk around to make sure we were happy with the job. Several things on the invoice had to be corrected because we were charged for things that didn’t get completed. The owner did make it right by correcting the invoice but would have been happier if the job would have been completed as promised in the initial bid. Overall very unpleased with service provided by Black Tie Landscaping. The owner is lacking attention to detail and professionalism.

The first year they did OK. The second year our lawn had a brownish cast to it all year. I talked to the technician (3X), called the company and talked to a manager, and it wasn't until September that they sent out a different manager to confirm there was a problem.
