"The original call to make the appointment left a very sour taste in my mouth. The secretary was quite rude & talked to me like I was someone who had no clue about plumbing at all. Which is rather humorous, because I actually know most likely more than her! I have done 2 decades of electrical & plumbing work for a local gas company & am pretty sure that the very impersonable gal has never gotten her nails dirty. So, I called to cancel the appt. soon after, when I realized that I could probably just deal with the old body aches over paying a company that employed her, & had to leave a message, which was even more impersonable! Glad I saved myself about $200, at the least, & won't ever have to talk with her again! Can't imagine how friendly the service techs are!"

"Calling Benjamin Franklin Plumbing was total waste of whole day for me. We call this company to come to our property, which is an old house that has been divided into apartments, to replace a kitchen faucet, supply lines, and shut off valves. It's an easy job that I would normally do myself, but I did not have all the right tools with me since I live in Texas. The plumber came in and took a look at it, said he would get his tools, and then came back to tell me that he can't do the job because he was not told it's not a single-family home. We told the dispatcher that was the case when we made the appointment. I think the plumber just didn't want to mess with this job, even though it may have been a lot more work for their company. He told me they were going to "waive" the dispatch fee this time. Waive it? What a joke. It was a total waste of my day. I have another company who sounds much more professional coming tomorrow."
