"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had the pleasure of working with Triple G Contracting on one of our Dollar Tree paint and refresh projects in Winfield, AL, and couldn’t be be happier with the experience. Jason, the owner, was kind, professional, and incredibly communicative from start to finish. This project came together at the last minute, and he quickly mobilized dedicated crews to make it happen without missing a beat. His team completed the painting scope on time, communicated throughout the project, and delivered quality workmanship. It’s refreshing to work with a contractor who follows through on their commitments and truly cares about the finished product. We sincerely appreciate everything Jason and his team did to help make this project a success. We highly recommend Triple G Contracting and look forward to working with them again on future stores!"

"Not the best experience redoing my kitchen. The owner was very responsive but the workers left a lot to be desired. The cabinets were of good quality, but they initially put the wrong cabinets in the kitchen and one cabinet was hanging over the door into the laundry room by 2-3 inches. I sent a pic to the owner who realized they installed the wrong cabinets. They did replace them. They installed the granite counter tops but there was a crack near the sink that they did not tell me about. I did not notice it until an electrician I hired to install under-cabinet lights pointed it out. The owner did get someone to repair the crack, but I feel that they should have informed me about it. I am in Huntsville and the workers are in Cullman, AL which is about an hour and half from where I live. They would say they were on their way but would not show up 3-4 hours later. That was not that big of a deal to me but why say you are on your way when you are not? Just give me the time to expect you, it is very annoying. There were also some dings on the cabinets and I do not think I got all the shelves that go inside the cabinets. Their price was good and overall, I am happy with the kitchen, but I have concerns about what I did not catch when they were installing the cabinets that might turn up in the future."

"Amos, of Eichers Cabinet Installs and his partner had my 2 cabinets raised, leveled and re-secured to the wall in 30 minutes. My cabinets had loosened from the wall and dropped about an inch, causing misalignment of the double doors on each unit. When I posted my cabinet repair needs on Angi on one evening, he responded to me immediately on the next morning. He set up a time for service on a Saturday afternoon, and was at my house when he said he would be. He figured out the problem with my cabinets quickly. The quote for his service was very reasonable, much lower than I expected, and he quickly and professionally completed my repair needs. He’s a nice guy. I highly recommend him for your cabinet needs."

"The job went great. We have an entrance to the bedroom from a back porch so the painters did not have to go through any other part of the house. They did not leave any thrash laying around and were very neat. I would highly recommend them to anyone else. We had another contractor bid the job and the prices were comparable. We chose Brad because he looked more professional.

"I talked to several contractors about getting new hinges, patching and refinishing, and adding pulls on my 38 year old, well built cabinets. Original hinges had just worn out in those 38 Yeats (36 cabinets and 14 drawers). All estimates, including N-Hance were within a few hundred dollars; however, amount of downtime and what was provided differed. N-Hance estimated a week, included the quiet close hinges, and install the pulls I provided. Also, I liked the way Paula and Larry presented themselves and explained everything, so they were hired. I chose to paint the cabinets versus refinishing. Paxton, Sean, Larry, and Paula did a great job all in all. I recommend them."

Cabinet Contractors questions, answered by experts

Yes, stacked cabinets, bulkhead trim, and crown molding are worth it. This look is not only customized and high-end, but you’ll also have the added benefit of extra storage space. And because you don’t need to remove your existing cabinets to achieve this look, you’ll save by not needing to complete a kitchen remodel—which could run between $15,000 and $40,000.

Like nearly any other upgrade, new and improved kitchen cabinets can increase your property value and make your home more attractive to potential buyers. After all, the majority of home buyers consider the kitchen to be one of the most important rooms in the house. New melamine cabinets can be a big plus, particularly if you select a classic wood grain or another light neutral color that provides a blank slate for other design elements.

Thermofoil cabinets are an affordable option for anyone who is trying to revamp their home on a budget. They are durable, come in many styles, and give your home a whole new look without breaking the bank. However, if you are looking for a long lifespan out of your cabinets or want to add resale value to your home, then you should consider higher-quality cabinets instead.

The time it takes to install new cabinets depends on the scope of the project. For a kitchen installation, you can expect the process to take anywhere from 2-5 days for a standard layout up to a couple of weeks for more complex projects, depending on the number of cabinets and the installation space. For a smaller project, such as installing cabinets in a bathroom, you can expect the work to take a week or less. Your cabinet installation expert will be able to provide you with a realistic timeframe.

Installing custom cabinets is a great remodeling project to add value to your home. The return on investment can be over 70%. If you don’t have the budget for all new custom cabinets, try refacing your existing cabinets instead. This can still freshen up a tired kitchen and help make your home appealing to potential buyers.
