"Everything went great. The workers were very professional and pleasant to talk too. They cleaned up all the mess after the tree was cut down and now my yard brings in more light into my house. I will definitely hire them again. Thank you G & C Tree service for taking the time and doing a fantastic job cutting my bradford pear tree down which was too large for my small yard. Amazing company! And thank you Leroy for keeping me posted as to when you were able to do the job due to the rainy weather. And also they did a fantastic job when they ground up the stump of the tree and roots Thank you again for a job well done!!"

"I highly recommend Molinas Tree Service! They are an amazing team of friendly, professional, efficient and hard working individuals. They were quick to respond to my call for an estimate on removing a huge pine tree and arrived early on the day of removal. Clean up was good. The cost was very reasonable. If you are looking for a company you can trust to get the job done well, in a timely manner and at a reasonable cost, call Molinas!!"

"J & C Tree Service did a great job trimming 2 very tall oak trees. The young man promptly came to give us an estimate & quickly sent email with all work details. Three workers came a day early & immediately started working after confirming task with us. They were very professional hard-working young men cleaning up all debris. We would recommend J & C Tree Service every time. Very pleased we chose this company!!"

Small jobs welcome

"A Plus Tree Service did an amazing job! When Davis came out to give me an estimate, I liked that he didn't try to upsale me on any services. He patiently walked around and educated me on the trees I was concerned about. I felt the pricing was fair and reasonable. Neil, the owner, and crew were like a family and you could tell they enjoyed and took pride in their work. I will have them come out annually to make sure the trees on my property remain healthy."

Tree Service questions, answered by experts

Ideally, you’ll have a good enough relationship with your neighbors that you can kindly mention this task in regular conversation. However, every neighbor (and neighborhood) is different. Your best bet will always be to ask directly and nicely, offering to contribute to the tree trimming efforts if you’d like. However, if you are bothered by the tree and your neighbor is unwilling to cut it, you can involve the help of the homeowners’ association or local authorities, if applicable.

Dead trees are dangerous for several reasons. They are structurally compromised and prone to branch or trunk failure, which can pose a significant safety risk to people, vehicles, and nearby structures. Dead trees can also harbor pests like termites, which may spread to other trees or your home. If a tree died from a disease, it could spread the illness to healthy trees. Additionally, the dry wood is highly flammable, increasing fire risk.

Usually, trees cannot grow back after their stump has been ground, but some very hearty types of trees can. For example, if you have a black locust or Redford pear, the grinding will need to go deep to prevent them from growing back. Ask your tree service or stump removal expert whether your tree can resprout after its stump is ground down.

The best pro to hire for spraying trees is a tree maintenance specialist. These pros are well-versed in selecting the right spray treatment and applying it properly to ensure there’s no collateral damage to the tree or surrounding landscape. Many tree maintenance services employ certified arborists, but for these routine visits, the extra investment usually isn’t necessary.

Early signs that a tree is struggling include premature leaf shedding and lesions or other strange markings. Peeling bark, dead or rotten branches on the ground, and a conspicuous lack of leaves can all be signs that a tree has started to die. By the time a tree starts leaning, it’s usually too far gone to save.
