"Everything went great. The workers were very professional and pleasant to talk too. They cleaned up all the mess after the tree was cut down and now my yard brings in more light into my house. I will definitely hire them again. Thank you G & C Tree service for taking the time and doing a fantastic job cutting my bradford pear tree down which was too large for my small yard. Whether you should remove the roots of a dead tree depends on whether they’re damaging nearby areas. For instance, if the roots continue to grow near sidewalks, driveways, or the foundation of your home, they can cause damage. If you want to plant something else in that spot, removing the roots can make it easier for the new tree or plant to grow.

While there is a lot of debate about whether boiling water is strong enough to kill tree roots, it is not best to remove the roots from large, old trees. You may be able to weaken young roots enough to remove them manually, but boiling water will likely not do the trick for large root systems.
