Tree Techs

About us

Wade Coshatt, owner of Tree Techs, has been in the Arboriculture (Study of Trees) field since 1993. Tree Techs' whole premise is professionalism, integrity, and doing it the right and proper way. For example, Tree Techs does not use tree-spikes unless a tree has to be removed all together. So, if you want to get it done cheap, do not call Tree Techs. If you want to get it done right, please call us and we will be glad to assist you.

It went extremely well. I was very pleasantly surprised at how well. Wade Coshatt visited a week or so ahead of time and gave me a very interesting lesson on trees and why my grass was having trouble in certain areas. Mr. Coshatt is a genuine expert in his field - of that there was no doubt. He also suggested the work to be done and gave me an estimate.
We left it open as to when he and his crew would do the work, since he was tied up on other big jobs and would try to fit into his schedule. Sure enough, a couple days out he called to set a date, and arrived right on time.He wanted to make sure I was satisfied with the work, and wanted me there to advise as it went. This was really helpful.
What really surprised me was how much better the house looks with the trees cleaned up! I never would have imagined. I definitely recommend Tree Techs to anyone looking for quality advice and maintenance for their trees.

I am very satisfied. Wade came out promptly after my call at 7:30 this am (we had two large limbs break from our huge oak tree in front of our home after a downpour and storm in the wee hours this morning. They were very large, and after cutting up, yielded enough wood to fill a wood rack!) He surveyed the damage and answered my questions concerning this tree's stability and possible action in future, seeing that it is so close to the house it worries me greatly when large limbs come down, thankfully this time they were in the front yard and NOT on the house. He quoted a price for the cleanup, and did cut the limbs to usable size for our fireplace. His crew were very efficient and thorough. They had to use the bucket truck to get up in that tree, and they used a mini-bobcat to transfer the long sections of limbs to the driveway, where they were cut up into lengths. The smaller limbs were taken care of with the shredder. They left our front yard looking as if nothing had ever happened. Although it was alarming to wake up to this damage to the tree first thing in the am, by 10:30 they had it clean as a whistle out there. I can't recommend them highly enough. I feel very satisfied about our future business with them with this tree, and very confident of their services, as Wade is also an arborist, and can recommend any further action required with this tree, as we would hate to lose it. We are going to use them after the fall to tend to this tree, as it needs more work.

Tree Tech came to the house the next day after I called for an estimate. They pointed out the immediate need to remove the limb because of contact with my chimney, the risk of the large limb breaking off and damaging my roof. They also pointed out a great deal of rot at the base of the tree. Although they advised removing the entire tree, they provided estimates for removing only the limb and another estimate for the entire tree. Once we decided to remove the entire tree, they immediately contracted the crane provider and kept me informed of the schedule. The day the work was performed, I was not able to get to the house till around noon. They had already removed the tree, ground the stump, and removed all the debris. I was amazed at the efficiency and completeness of job. I have used Tree Tech in the past and would continue to recommend and use them in the future.

They were extremely professional and did high quality work. We were required by our insurance company to have some trees cut down that were hanging over the roof. Wade, the owner, walked around and inspected all the trees and made recommendations on what to cut down and what to prune and what to leave alone. He is very knowledgeable about trees. They were prompt to respond and were very clean and did exactly what I asked. I have used them several times in the past since we have so many large trees, something is always needing to be cut down as a result of dying, storms, or something. I definitely would recommend them and will use them in the future when more trees need to come down. They may not be the cheapest tree cutters, but I trust the quality of their work and trust that they will protect other trees and plants when bringing down what's getting cut.

Back in July 2011, I called for an estimate. Wade and Lee came out the same day and gave me an estimate. They were so very knowledgeable and friendly I was impressed. They were professional and of all the other companies I tried to work with they were the most responsive. Due to my schedule I had to wait until October to get the work done. As soon as I called I was put on their schedule for the following week. Today October 26, 2011 they arrived around noon. Boy were they ever prepared!! They had a bucket truck, bob cat, chipper machine and trucks to haul away the debris. In less than 2 hours they had removed about 5 big limbs over my carport, limbs off the neighbor’s maple tree that hung over our property line, the dead branches that were dangling on the hackberry trees and small spindly limbs that were dead. They were so careful not to damage anything as they cut the limbs and dropped them in small pieces to the ground. They hauled everything to the front yard with their little bobcat and chipped everything. The guys all worked very well together and this allowed them to be extremely efficient. After the limbs and scraps were all picked up and the truck was moved from the back of the house, they raked and blew off everything!! My backyard looks fabulous. My trees look great and I am extremely happy with their work. I enjoyed watching them and asking questions about trees and I am now so much better informed. I appreciate their hard work and when the time comes that I need more tree work; as long as they are still in business I will only call Tree Techs!! Job well done and nice guys to work with!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After the April 27 Alabama Tornado they were quite busy, they did get back to me and did get to my downed tree.

Excellent Service, superior clean up after cutting and clearing. No remains, they even included a couple of other down limbs and tree scraps that were already at the curb.
