They did what they could in order to get us some water and gave us the best deal possible to get us a new submersible pump and worked with us and our home warranty company. "Called to have my septic pumped. First impression was good but I feel I was mislead on the cost. Quoted $450 for septic to be pumped. Told I would be informed of any additional cost before work was done. When he uncovered the septic, I was told the lid was broken and the septic would need to be replaced. We agreed to $6000 with risers and what I thought was septic pumped?the original job he was called to do. I was informed I had to pay 1/2 today and other half when job completed. Then I was asked if i was going to pay the company that was pumping the tank. What? I called him to pump it. Makes me question if he broke my lid so he could put a new septic in. Again I thought why would he ask that when that was what I called him to do. That afternoon I was called and told it would be another $500 for risers. When job was done he tells me my remaining balance is $3950?.not what we initially discussed for the $6000 after paying 1/2 at $3000. Why was I asked to pay another company $450? "

In most cases, drain cleaners will not clear a clogged sewer line, and they’re likely to damage your plumbing. Sewer lines are several inches wide, meaning any material that clogs it will need to be large. Drain cleaner can work on small clogs, but it usually won’t clear a larger one in a sewer main. Drain cleaners can also easily damage and corrode your plumbing with prolonged contact, and a clog will keep the cleaner in contact with the pipes for an extended period. If the drain is frozen, the pipes connecting to the washing machine are likely frozen. If the hot water trick doesn’t also unfreeze the washing machine pipes, you can gently apply heat with a hair dryer on the lowest setting.
