Ironically, stink bugs tend to hate plants that have a strong odor. Along with the plants that attract their predators listed above, here are a few pungent plants to add to your garden:

Paper wasps, like many other wasps, are attracted to sweet smells that remind them of nectar. That’s why wasps may buzz around you as you snack on watermelon on the patio. They may also like the scent of certain perfumes. Standing water attracts these wasps, too.

A single stink bug can lay up to 400 eggs in a lifetime, which can worsen an infestation. Stink bugs lay significantly more eggs in warmer climates where they stay active longer and have several rounds of egg laying.
