"Burt Goodman worked all day to caulk and seal the chimney, replace the cleanout door, inspect the top of the chimney, caulk and repair the fireplace and brick face inside, and explain the whole process and answer my questions. (Please excuse if I used the wrong terms for some of the work done!) Overall, I would highly recommend Archer Construction."

"Brandon was excellent he was on time and patient with all my questions. Showed me a couple of times how to ignite an older gas fireplace , did a full inspection inside and out including the chimney. Made some observations but wasnâ t pushy at all. They will stay on our list for annual check ups on our fireplace."

However, wood of unknown origin should be burned during the dormant season—do not store wood in the warmer months for the winter season. If you harvest oak, let it dry in the sun before transporting it elsewhere.
