"Do not use SEUD for your underdeck system Wish there were negative Stars that I could give to this company. The under deck was installed in February of 2023, and it so happened that it rained the very next day, the underdeck was leaking live a sieve. (it still does) Southeastern Underdeck has in the last 17 months sent over their technicians multiple times - but have not been able to stop the leaks. (The frequent repairs have left the panels nicked and dented) They have blamed the the leaks on everything other than their poor workmanship and bad product (1) improper installation of the deck, (2) disregard of the codes during the installation of the deck, (3) missing flashing under the deck, (4) water collection on the deck, (5) the deck being painted rather stained, (6) the lack of gap between the planks in the deck, (7) the water gushing down from the roof, (8) the gutters being blocked and finally the leaks were ascribed to (9) a piece of rotting wood on the chimney and (10) gap where the chimney meets the roof. Before we opted for SEUD's underdeck system - We had a corrugated underdeck system that never leaked - What they fail to explain or comprehend is why we never experienced leaks in the old system. My recommendation HOLD ON to the amount that is due - till such time there is rain and you are convinced that the underdeck system does not leak. Have a look at this to see the extent of the leaks [*** Link removed ***] the old underdeck syste and did not leak the reason it was changed was because it was made of corrugated material"

"Terrible company that does not stand behind their work. The owner Ken is nothing short of a bald faced liar. I had this company do 2 different commercial jobs and they screwed them both up. One they fixed after we chased them for months and the other they refused to fix even after it became apparent that their crew hadn't cleaned or prepped the walls properly which caused the paint to start flaking off within a month or so of the completion date. Ken was full of hot air and excuses and even tried to blame Sherwin Williams paint for their subpar work. They have been paid in full and yet they still refuse to fix their mistake. Classic example of a company that doesn't desire to be in business."

"I went to the Lowes on Gunbarrel in Chattanooga to order cellular shades. There was no one in the window treatment department so someone from another department who had no idea what he was doing came over to assist. It took about an hour to get the quote and to attempt to get the address changed on my account. He gave up on getting the address changed. The next step was measuring the windows. The contractor that measured the windows was good, but when we went to the store to finalize the purchase, the estimate had doubled, they still could not change our address on the account or complete the order. The associate called for a manger on multiple occasions and managers just walked by ignoring her. We were there for several hours. The associate gave up and asked us to come back the next day to finalize the order. Turns out she was off that day, so we had to go back a third day. The third day we were there for hours again. When we did finalize the order, I begged them not to send the shades to our previous state address as we no longer own that house. Keep in mind, they came to our house in Chattanooga to do the measurements. Low and behold I got a call from Lowe's headquarters to confirm that we received the shipment and of course the shades were shipped to our previous out of state address as the picture taken of the delivery had confirmed. Lowe's headquarters made things right, but I would not be surprised if this store is bleeding money. I do not blame the associate as it appears that the associates get little to no assistance from the management at this store. This location is giving Lowe's a bad name as a whole."
