On call maintenance

We called On Call Maintenance to fix my mother-in-law's dishwasher and ice maker.  He came out punctually and said parts would have to be ordered for both.  He told us he would call when the parts came in.  We waited and waited for his call.  Finally we called him and he said the part for the dishwasher was in but he was still waiting for the ice maker part.  We made an appointment for him to come and fix the dishwasher.  He never showed for that appointment.  We tried to call him several times after that but got no response.  We finally were able to contact him again and set up another appointment.  He did not show for that one either.  We ended up having to get someone else to do these repairs.

It went well. I've used him at my home. He cares about what he does. Working on the weekend is no problem for him. The price was absolutely good. He was very responsive. I will absolutely use him again.

I contacted Mr. Love on Friday at around noon. He was available and arrived an hour and a half later, as promised. He looked over the items needing repair for a while. He had to leave for parts and returned about 45 minutes later. After he returned, he did the repairs and was on his way within a couple hours. 

I had been dealing with the leaky tub for quite some time. It is such a HUGE relief to have it repaired! I literally almost cried once I realized it was fixed...really, really fixed! 

Mr. Love is knowledgeable, experienced and reliable. He was kind, professional and his prices are very reasonable. I most certainly will be contacting him in the future for more repairs/updates! I'm starting a list already....

My freezer started spraying water out of the back of the water line the night before I went on vacation. When I tried to fix the water line myself, it stopped making ice and kept spraying water. So I turned off the water and left for a week. When I got back on Saturday evening, I called On-Call Maintenance and we scheduled a service call for Sunday morning. He was quick to figure out what the problem was (a broken valve inside the freezer), had to go to Lowe's to get a part, and was quick to get it put together again. He explained what he did while we waited for the ice thingy to fill up. The price was good and the Sunday appointment was a life saver, since it's hard to take off work to meet a repair person.

I have nothing but praise to say for this man --- I am thinking about what I can get done the way I want  in the future and I will definately wait for his schedule -  he is worth the wait

ON CALL arrived on time.  Provided an estimate, and even after more parts were needed, charged the same amount for the repair. I felt comfortable with the service technician working on the house.  In the future, I would have no problem arranging for the technician to make repairs if only my wife were home. I joined Angie's List to find someone that worked on portable air conditioners.  My brother took the unit apart to get to the blower wheel - but he told me that he didn't think that he could get to the damaged part and even if he did, he wasn't sure he could put the unit back together.  My brother can fix anything, so when he gave up,  I knew that I needed a professional. I liked the reports posted for  "On Call Maintenance", so I called (on a  Saturday) & left a brief message about what I needed.   In a very short time, Steve returned my call & he told me he felt confident that he could replace the part & put the unit back together.  I ordered the blower wheel & received it on the following Wednesday.   I called Steve & made an appointment for the next day at 10AM.  Steve had the part replaced and the unit working within an hour.  He was professional, courteous,  punctual, & returned/answered all of my calls.  My unit works great & Steve even installed the hoses & weatherized the windows better than they were before.  I will definitely call on Steve in the future.  In fact, I have a plumbing problem in my kitchen - I think I'll call him now.

Mr. Love arrived on the same day the request for service was made. He came to examine my washing machine and discovered a broken part.  He advised that the 'fix' was worth the $110 vs. purchasing a new machine as all other parts appeared to be in good working order.  He didn't have the replacement part with him, but, picked it up and came back to fix the following business day.  Everything seems to be working well and I would use him again in the future if necessary.

Called Mr. Love, told him what I thought was the problem. He arived that same afternoon, looked at the problem, had the needed parts on his truck and it was fixed in a very short time. He also put a bathroom vent cover back on that I had removed for cleaning. I fooled with the cover for 20 minutes without any luck and Mr. Love had it mounted and up and running again in 5 minutes. Good guy that is knowledgeable with a good attitude.and his labor is also reasonably priced..

Actually the washer stopped working the next day. We decided at that point to buy a new washer.

The experience was awesome! There was no messing around. When it was time to do the work, it was done and finished. They were here on time. There were no hidden surprises. The price is really great! They are probably $30.00 per hour cheaper than some national companies that are out there, and they do not charge overtime on the weekends. I would recommend them to other friends.

Excellent service; hardworking, prompt, personable, and extremely competent. Having him back next week to repair drywall. Found the handy-man I needed!

I have not observed a problem. I plan to call him if I do and for handyman jobs. I felt that I can trust him, scheduling was easy and the price was right.

I called him after a friend told me about him I called him to look at my hot water heater he told me he would be over in an hour Steve showed up on time and installed a new thermostat and new heating elements , he had the parts on his truck so was very fast an hour an half was gone , I thought I was going to buy a new heater
