Lowe's Of Chattanooga

I went to the Lowes on Gunbarrel in Chattanooga to order cellular shades. There was no one in the window treatment department so someone from another department who had no idea what he was doing came over to assist. It took about an hour to get the quote and to attempt to get the address changed on my account. He gave up on getting the address changed. The next step was measuring the windows. The contractor that measured the windows was good, but when we went to the store to finalize the purchase, the estimate had doubled, they still could not change our address on the account or complete the order. The associate called for a manger on multiple occasions and managers just walked by ignoring her. We were there for several hours. The associate gave up and asked us to come back the next day to finalize the order. Turns out she was off that day, so we had to go back a third day. The third day we were there for hours again. When we did finalize the order, I begged them not to send the shades to our previous state address as we no longer own that house. Keep in mind, they came to our house in Chattanooga to do the measurements. Low and behold I got a call from Lowe's headquarters to confirm that we received the shipment and of course the shades were shipped to our previous out of state address as the picture taken of the delivery had confirmed. Lowe's headquarters made things right, but I would not be surprised if this store is bleeding money. I do not blame the associate as it appears that the associates get little to no assistance from the management at this store. This location is giving Lowe's a bad name as a whole.

The process went well. Just very busy, in the store, at that time of night. The installer was on time if not early for the appointment. Happy with my service

It went very good. Lowe's gave plenty of notice as to when they would be coming to the house. Walked us through each step of the process. Kitchen is beautiful.

Lowes sent a person to measure the areas of my house where I wanted
hardwood floors installed. Within a day I had a price for materials and
labor. Their installers scheduled the job for later in the week. They
showed up on time and did a great job. I am very pleased with the
installation and the professionalism of the installers. It's been eight
years and my floors still look great!

It did not go well because of various mistakes made by the Lowe's

sales people and the Lowe's contractor. Please read above section for details.

They are a good place to buy materials. The people were friendly and helpful. The service is excellent. They are very knowledgeable and helpful. I've have nothing but a good experience with them. Generally they have excellent prices.

It was excellent. Lowe's contacted me by phone to set up the appt. and called with a follow up when the work was done. They left a contact number in case there was a problem. The installer was very efficient and professional. He even cleaned the glass door and swept up after himself.

It went fine overall.

They were very nice and efficient. They did a good check on our house and told us what needed to be done. They said they wouldn’t work on the house until the foundation was fixed because they couldn’t guarantee their work.
