- Budget Blinds MadisonLast year I had Budget Blinds install all the blinds in my home and had one of them installed on the outside of the frame. I recently decided to redo that one blind and have it installed in the window frame instead. I contacted them earlier this month and they came out the same week to remeasure the window (previously measured only for outside frame installation). They were on time and gave me a courtesy call beforehand to remind me and let me know they were on their way. I ordered the exact same blind (top down / bottom up honeycomb model) and the visit took only about 15 minutes (probably quicker if I hadn't been chatting). I paid the deposit (all forms of payment are accepted) and they said they'd call me when it came in. Approximately 8-10 days later they called again to tell me the blind was in and to suggest a time to come out and do the installation. They were again on time and gave a courtesy call ahead of time. The installation took approximately 20 minutes. They left the blind that was removed (at my request since there was nothing wrong with it and could possibly use it again), filled in the nail holes from the previous blind, and had me test the blind to ensure it worked properly. Blind worked great as expected. I paid the remaining balance and we were done. The owner handled everything professionally and in a friendly manner. He was prompt, courteous, and did quality work with a quality product. I would definitely use Budget Blinds again in the future if I decided to replace any of my existing blinds. Great job

It went on much longer than anticipated but I should have been dealing with Wayne all along. Eric is an excellent worker and very pleasant just not very good on follow up or showing up when he says he will. But once I spoke to Wayne, everything went smooth and on schedule. Due to the quality of work I will definitely use them again. The grade A for punctuality and response is due to Wayne

"I placed an order for 3 tops down bottoms up cordless pleated blackout shades, to replace similar light filtering shades from another company. The shades were reasonably priced, arrived on time and fit correctly. However I'm unimpressed with their overall quality. Three things bother me about the blinds:
1) they are extremely noisy when being raised or lowered
2) they need to be adjusted for level every time they are raised or lowered
3) inside the upper housing, there is a string that appears to move as the blinds are raised or lowered. Since the string rubs against parts in the housing, it is likely it will eventually break.
I don't think I'd buy these again.

"It knew if was fair pricing because I had checked with others around us. They are locally owned and operated. They were the most cost efficient. They came out, took the curtains down, put the new windows in, cleaned up after themselves and hung my curtains back up. The only complaint I have is that it took a long time to finish because they had to order the windows. It took about two months to finish.

"Mix up with owners and the schedule. Had to contact them several times to get them to respond. Once guy came out, I explained what I wanted and he went to work. He got the stuff done with some time left over so I had him clear another space in my back yard. I had asked him if he had cleaned up the mess and he said yes but after he left I checked the area and pulled weeds were still there.
