Window World has a customer service problem. I would not use this company. I have reached out several times to try and address problems with our install. Six month plus delays. Showing up with the wrong sized windows, then expecting me to just accept their solution, without fully discussing it. The windows are lower quality than we were sold on. Some are bent warped, and some lock mechanisms are either cumbersome, or don't line up. Installers were great, but only showed up with a partial order. No communication when you call and leave a callback. No ability to enter the showroom to discuss. This went from a reputable business in town to one I would not recommend to my worst enemy. The owners should be ashamed of how far this company has fallen.

The best way to describe Window World would be that their service is between **** poor and unbelievable. So many things that would **** off the Pope. To make a long story short after signing a contract we were told it would be about 30 days to start the job. 30 days turned into 60 days. 60 days turned into 90 days. 90 days turned into next week, and next week turned into three weeks later. Each time it was we don't know who told you 30 days or 60 days, bla bla bla. They are like a broken record. Any way three months later they start the work and they got the color wrong, but Sue said screw it. I can live with it and I do not want to wait another three months. Their workers smashed bushes by laying ladders and siding on top of them. When I talk to the supervisor this moron tells me that if there is something that we do not want damaged we have to move it. Anyway they finished the siding, but did not have the new garage door or handrails and they told me they would be done next week. Well next week is now three weeks and not one word yet. In my opinion WINDOW WORLD ARE A BUNCH OF UNPROFESSIONAL LIARS WHO DEMONSTRATE ZERO PROFESSIONALISM AND ZERO PRIDE IN WHAT THEY DO.

When Window World came out to do our estimate in January we were very excited to get new windows. We were told that it the order would be filled in 4-7 weeks and that installation would take a few hours. March comes and they have the windows and so we planned our day out to be home when they were there. The installers come and we find out that half of the order was incorrect, the salesperson had written down three of our windows incorrectly. The installers installed the other windows and the door at that time. We were told that our correct windows would arrive in a few weeks and they would schedule a day then. They arrive and we schedule an installation day. A few days before the scheduled date I got a call saying they had time open up and could install that day. I leave work at 8:30 for what I suspect will be a couple hours of work. The crew finished at 4pm. They had used too much force when removing the old windows and the frame had separated about a quarter of an inch from the drywall. The exterior paint was damaged. They used the wrong caulk outside and inside to seal the covers. They had installed the sheet metal on the outside incorrectly and sloppily. I overheard later that this was this crew's first job, and I only saw a manager come out for 20 minutes to make sure they were doing things correctly. A third crew had to come out to fix this and I was told that they could not fix the inside, only the outside. So a couple hours later all the exterior windows matched and finally looked great. A fourth crew came out to touch up the inside and fixed everything. They uninstalled the windows and moved the frames back to where they needed to be and removed the improper caulking. At this point I was done dealing with them. I will be doing the drywall work and repainting around the windows where it got torn up from the second installation and the removal the incorrect caulk. If you want to get in contact with the company don't bother asking for a call from the local office. I asked for the local manager to call me four times over this whole thing, and only heard from them once when I got in contact with corporate in Atlanta and made them aware of what had happened. I got a $200 discount, which covered the cost of a window. I used 10 hours of vacation to be home while the windows were being fixed, when I was told by the sales rep that the whole thing would take 3 or 4 hours tops. When I tried to contact the local office about some kind of reimbursement they would not return the call. Ultimately, I am extremely happy with the quality of the windows and the door. Our power bill has gone down dramatically. If the order had been correct the first time this would have likely been a fantastic review, but once things started messing up our experience was terrible.

It went fairly well. We're pleased enough. There were some problems with showing up when they said they would and/or not letting us know about being late. One big problem was not letting us know the kind of window sealant (we're not the professionals; they are; they should have let us know) they'd be using and that we couldn't replace the blinds for a full 24 hours after the new windows were installed. My husband missed a whole day of work because of this. They also showed up over two hours late. My husband was up at 5 a.m. to get our blinds taken down before they arrived. When they hadn't arrived (with no phone call) thirty minutes after stated arrival time, he stopped removing blinds. Once before with another contractor on a day they were supposed to show up and do a job they not only did not show up but did not call to let us know. So, he had no reason to assume that wouldn't happen again. And no, it's not his job to call Window World and get an update and wait on return phone calls and explanations. We also had a friend who drove 20 miles to be here to help replace blinds and his trip (which he didn't find out about until he got here and was here for a few hours, was wasted, and his time. When they arrived all the blinds had obviously not been removed. My husband then resumed removing them but it wasn't fast enough (we didn't know they'd hit the house from all sides at once rather than in a window by window direction), so they entered our house (they were by the way very professional in behavior) and removed the remaining blinds themselves because of time constraint. This was right after they showed up. They were careful but it nonetheless made me nervous as we paid a lot of money for the blinds, and they had been professionally cut and installed for specific windows and we wanted to handle that ourselves. Again, communication of key factors would have resulted in NONE of this stress and inconvenience. They may be 'contractors' but they are W World's contractors, and the buck stops at Window World. Period.

While the work itself was good, it was the most atrocious experience ever. Their materials were good, but the experience was quite possibly the worst construction experience I have had in my life. It was awful! They worked with all contractors. We don't know who is coming to our house and frankly, they don't either because one of the contracting crews said that they get people right off of Craig's List. People came and we had one instance where one of their contractors walked all over our HVAC system outside, and they tried to infer that it was somehow something that we had done and the unit was less than a year old. It took forever to get reimbursed for that, and that's the deal with the contractor's insurance company. They didn't handle all the stuff themselves which stunned me because that should be transparent, not that something that a customer ever even knows about, and especially on an occasion like ours where the unit was less than a year old. They did go along and tried to clean up but we've spent the last year cleaning up. There are still lots of nails and things like that all around. They put siding over my dryer vent, as in over it. They blocked it. That was over Thanksgiving. We started it in August and it was not complete until after the first of the year. They mismeasured things. There wasn't a single contractor who came to our place and didn't look and say two houses. We said all the way all the time it was 2 houses. There was a broken window on the first truck and they installed the window because they could replace the piece that was broken, but I had to follow that piece continually, and really seriously, it ended up being an incredible ordeal to continually follow and follow up and make sure that somebody was going to show up and do the work. It was one of the worst construction experiences of my life. I went off of the TV ad that they are recommended by all these people. If I had known that a different company that we've used for roofing did siding and stuff, I would have gone with them especially on this. I would never recommend these guys because it was a complete ordeal dealing with the way they do business. Their customer service people were so good and so nice, but they have no power. All they could do is sit there and apologize. It's really too bad that they do their business that way and I can't imagine how annoying it would be to be a customer service person and have to deal with somebody calling and asking over and over again. We spent right $30,000 on this whole thing, and we thought that they would be a little bit more responsive. One crew was very good too. They had a crew run by a guy named Howie and his crew was excellent. It was over the course of many months. They came out a year ago in August to do the initial bid and everything, and it took until mid-January of 2015. The customer service people was responsive. For the punctuality, it totally depended on the crew. It had everything to do with getting the materials in. Each crew was different. I absolutely would not use them again.

I had a couple of windows that were difficult to open and close and this was the third time that Window World came out to work on them. The repair person spent an hour and finally got the windows to open and close smoothly. Great job!

Miss measured one window. No issues on returning to install. They were rough on window sills. I've had to fill in dents from where the tools where used to pry the old windows out.
