"Beware of shipping issues with this company. Ordered an ice maker installation kit on 10/10/25. Shipping was due no later than 10/20 according to company and FedEx tracking. FedEx tracking showed the package at their facility for 8 days without moving beginning on 10/15. Called FedEx 3 times. Each time they said they cannot find package and I have to contact shipper. Shipper has to make a claim, they will not mark it as lost. Called Appliance Parts Pros twice. Each time they say FedEx has to mark package lost before they will do anything. They also state they have to wait 14 days from them before doing anything because of their contract with FedEx. I don't care about their contract, I want what was ordered and paid for. Just going in circles with them and FedEX. If they shipped after 14 days it would be 22 days from that point, 32 days from the date of order if they shipped it that day. There was a deadline for installing this part before tenants arrive. They did not care, would not m"

"I called in the morning about a leak under my sink and someone was immediately dispatched to my house! NO WAITING FOR A FEW DAYS! J.D. was very professional and friendly as he fixed the pipe and explained what had caused it. I highly recommend this company!"

"We were very impressed with this business; the owner's wife answered my call and courteously and professionally arranged a relatively large job/cleaning within a week. The owner himself with his associate came out and performed the job, graciously adding on a full HVAC cleaning to the prescheduled air duct and dryer vent cleaning which extended his day quite a bit. He did a lot of education and they did a courtesy seal up as our air duct air intake had been drawing in air from a crawl space that had not been properly sealed. I don't think the air ducts had ever been cleaned in our recently purchased home (built in 1998) so everything was in significant need of cleaning, and we are so pleased we did this - the air was noticeably fresher, the ducts are no longer delivering fine dust (we were told quite a bit of remodel dust was still in the ducts from a 2012 remodel), and everything should be running more efficiently. Highly recommend investing in this particularly for any new home owners."

"I have written hundreds of reviews and 95% of them are totally positive, encouraging and uplifting. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this company. Two years ago we had 2 Beautiful Gas fireplace installations done by the Chimney Doctor. It was spendy but we’ve enjoyed the ambience and beauty that these installations have provided to our home and felt it was worth it. Furthermore, I have told many of my friends about this company and they also had good customer service and results, at least up until September 2020. Until that time, I believe the chimney doctor was under different ownership. Beginning in September 2020, my fireplace upstairs stopped working. It was determined that we needed an igniter. I begin calling immediately to have this issue fixed and scheduled. After over 20 phone calls over the course of several months, I finally received a call from the new owner who profusely apologized for his lack of follow through and promised that he would personally be to my home the next day to fix it. That was over a month ago. I have finally found someone else who can do the repairs and the necessary part should be here soon (my new contractor communicated this information via text as soon as he ordered it). I write this review because I truly want people to avoid the aggravation and frustration associated with a business that does not treat their customers in a respectful and considerate manner. If you would like the name of my new contractor, feel free to Google message me. I do not recommend the chimney doctor to anyone any longer."

Not a fan that I wasn't informed of him replacing my back flow valve and fill valve without asking me. $400+ in parts Not as punctual as they used to be when I worked along side them in the industry. Their new pricing is absurd and I can't fathom how lower income families could afford a scheduled service call let alone and after hours emergency. I don't leave any reviews ever but this one seemed worthy"

"They never came to the house to repair the damaged lawn after repeated responses stating that they'd handle it and customer service was a top priority for them. Had a firewood delivery in the fall of 2021 and they backed their truck off the driveway pad at the side of the house, onto the lawn, to get closer to the back yard gate. Their truck got stuck and needed to be towed off the lawn. While they were trying to get out, they left large ruts where their tires dug into the lawn. Gave them a pass, when they were unable to come to begin to repair the lawn that fall due to snow starting to come down. Contacted them again the following spring and after over a month of them not coming around to fix the damage they had done, when they said they would get it fixed, I wound up starting the lawn repair myself. Extremely disappointed in a company that repeatedly tells me that they've got me covered and the customer is a priority to them, but it turns out to be just lip service and they never followed through with actions."
