We hired Kruger Moving to unload a UHaul with 1 bedroom worth of belongings in Berkeley. After a thorough search for moving companies, I contacted a few about availability and rates. Siki replied within 30 minutes. He remained responsive over email while confirming details of the move. On the day of the move, they arrived on time. We did a walkthrough to discuss the plan for each room as well as larger items. I was impressed with their positive, can-do attitude. They navigated an exterior stairwell with ease. Overall, they worked efficiently and handled items with care. We had one challenging item, which I thought might not fit. After strategic problem-solving, they were able to make it work with some disassembling and reassembling. They also helped reassemble items we had taken apart to fit in the UHaul. No items were broken. No hidden charges. Took less time than expected. The entire process was far less stressful because of their excellent work ethic and extensive experience. I would hire them again without question, and I would strongly recommend them for any moving needs

Absolutely FANTASTIC! They arrived within 20 min of calling on a Saturday. Hoisted the sofa over a second floor railing and right into our apt. Wrapped sofa in a ton of padding to protect. Completed job within 30 min. Will hire again for when we move.

Cesar and his team were excellent from start to finish. My situation changed a couple of times and the flexibility Cesar showed from the start was very impressive. Cesar displayed above and beyond customer service and I was very impressed with the efficiency of his team. Thank you very much for a job well done

Shawn and his crew were great. I had to move out of my studio which was up one flight of stairs. They moved this huge press. Took it apart carefully and put it all back together once they got to my new place. There was lots of other furniture, glass, work tables, etc.. to move. They were efficient, fast and had a really good attitude. Would definitely use them again for any move

Cesar is the owner of the company. There were 3 movers (Cesar, Juan, and Andres) and they did the whole job within 4 hours. Loaded the truck, properly packed whatever was not done properly by ServPro, waited for me to take photos of everything prior to loading the items into the 26-foot moving truck. They were extremely careful and pointed out some damage even before loading (3 lamps and sofa). That is the main reason why I hired them as a company. For their unbiased professionalism. At my house they washed their hands constantly every time they had to unwrap and assemble furniture. They were very professional, affordable, and polite. My friends were impressed and one of them will use Cesar’s services in a month for his own move. I highly recommend them and would continue to do business with them in any future moves and recommend you do the same. Save yourself the time and effort researching as I’ve done it all. They’re very reasonably priced, professional, courteous and polite. Not to mention work swiftly and efficiently. If you have any further questions. Please feel free to reach out

Choosing the best mover

Get peace of mind when you know you did whatever you could to pick a good moving company. Prior to setting up a moving date with a provider in San Francisco, you should ask questions and take under consideration several factors. This includes what options the mover offers and how they hire their staff. We’ve given you a few of the essentials in the following so you know what to look for.

What options does the moving service offer?

Moving companies provide a wide assortment of service offerings to deliver on nearly all moving needs. Many put a focus on moving jobs within a certain city, while others offer moves between states, for example. Many moving services provide full-service moving, including packing your belongings for you or setting up furnishings. Talk to potential moving contractors about the services you require and want done to find out if the moving company is a suitable option.

How does the moving service charge for services?

Prices for moving services is often confusing, so be sure you know how each moving contractor prices. Some price based on the number of moving boxes and pieces of large items like furniture or appliances they move, along with mileage fees. Some charge based on the total weight of all items they move, and others may set prices based on the time they spend moving you.

Moving services may offer estimates and tools on their websites to provide you with some idea of ballpark cost ranges. Don’t look at these as actual quotes, as the moving contractor will likely change the price to a more precise figure when you provide them with the specifics about your moving plans.

Is the mover legally insured?

Only work with moving services that carry the proper insurance and coverage for their workers, their trucks and moving equipment, along with your belongings while under the moving company’s supervision.

What services can you hire moving contractors to do?

Moving companies may only focus on particular kinds of services, so you must find the best one for your requirements. Here’s a look at some of the types of services moving contractors provide in San Francisco.

Moving your things from point A to point B

The main service moving companies offer is transporting your items from point A to point B. Many moving contractors only take on short-distance relocations, while others are able to help you move from state to state. Talk about your move’s distance and any other unique specifics—such as whether the moving team must carry items up flights of stairs—when you obtain pricing information.

Prepping your things for a move

A lot of moving companies offer optional services for packing items or taking furniture apart. This can help you reduce the physical labor of your move, though you will likely pay a premium for such services.

Setting up furniture and other items in a new location

Movers may also assemble furniture in your new home. You may even find moving contractors willing to unpack all your items and set up your new house for you, though this generally comes at an added expense.

Storing items

If you need to move out of your home now but can’t move into a new home yet, find a mover that also offers short term storage. This can range from a pod, where your things sit until they can be transferred, to a storage unit, where movers unload your things until the new home is ready.

Moving specialty items

If you have specialty items, such as a heavy piano or valuable art, let potential movers know. Not all movers handle such items and you may need to pay more to have them transported.
