I spoke to David’s wife because David was busy. Fully informed her of items needed to be moved for one bdrm apartment. I was quoted and was led to believe 2 men could complete in 3 hours. I emailed David 6 days before my move and provided photos of my items. The day before my move, David called and said I needed to pay for an additional man and the job would take 4-6 hours. He offered a small discount. I expressed my anger and told him I would not be giving him a 5 star review. David then told me he would “pass” on the job and cancelled on me. David did return my $200 deposit. Would not recommend.

"Your 1 star review is a reflection of your anger issues NOT the quality of our work. We did no work for you. I turned down your job and returned your deposit because on the confirmation call you were a loose cannon - angry, belligerent, and unstable. We reserve the right to refuse service."

The guys at Neostart did a great job! We moved from Walnut Creek to Clayton and we have a lot of stuff. They were very careful with everything. Helped break down and reassemble beds and other things. I would rehire in a second.

The team arrived on time and did a good job. Extra time was taken up by having to create special packaging of wall art, glass tops and lamp shades instead of being brought with them. But other than that all went well and everything arrived and was placed without damage or incident.

I cannot recommend Neostart highly enough. They moved a huge commercial smoker for me, even when the job showed it was going to be harder than expected they fought through. From start to finish, the experience was smooth, professional, and stress-free. They arrived on time, handled everything with care, and worked efficiently without cutting corners. They were courteous to my newly painted house, communicative, and clearly experienced. If you’re looking for reliable movers who take pride in their work and put you at ease, this is the company. I’ll definitely be using them again and recommending them to friends and family!
