Spartan Moving Systems

I've used Spartan Movers for my past 3 moves around the Bay Area. They've made my moves a lot easier, more efficient, and less stressful. I've used them to move from Oakland to SF and another time for a short move within SF. Most recently, they helped me move my stuff from my apartment to a storage unit. I hired one truck with 3 movers. The whole process from calling to book my move to the end of the move was very transparent, professional, and organized. The movers didn't waste any time. They quickly moved all my stuff in and out of the truck but still handled it with care. They were very nice and had my best interests in mind. I plan on hiring them again if I have to move around the Bay Area again.

They were very professional, efficient, careful with the fragile things and very fun to work with. Fully recommended.

They were amazing! Responsive, timely. Moved an entire house in about 6 hours. Not one scratch or anything broken! Great value. They were almost 1/2 as expensive as the other quotes I received. Would definitely hire them again!

I used Spartan Moving Systems for our recent local move, and the experience was pleasant and beyond what I expected! Quote response: I got an immediate acknowledgement to my inquiry (within 15 minutes), and a reference number the very next morning. The quote provided was very detailed and thorough, allowing me to estimate the overall cost for my move. Follow ups: While I was figuring out the date and time that our move would take place, Felix was thoughtful to follow up a couple of times and letting me know how their availability changed for the original day and time I had requested in the quote. No other moving company followed up after the initial response. Move confirmation: Spoke to Ashish & Felix and they answered some questions I had, and help finalize the day & time of the move. All of this in matter of a few minutes after I confirmed that I would like to go ahead and book them for the moving. Day of the move: The crew (3 movers) called ahead of time before they were due to arrive - apparently they got done with their morning job earlier than anticipated and could have reached a couple of hours earlier, but we requested them to come only an hour or so earlier, and they were able to accommodate easily. All of the movers were wearing masks. Upon arrival, they surveryed the location to best position the moving truck, and efficiently bring down all the furniture, boxes, mattresses etc. Once the truck was parked in the parking lot, they spent a few minutes going over the paperwork and explaining the relevant details, such as their process for wrapping fragile and glass items, charges for any materials that may be needed (which was also made clear in the quote) etc. Once done with the paperwork, they immediately got to the task and started moving our stuff. The crew took every precaution and care to pack the fragile items (such as our dining table glass) safely so that there was no damage during the drive. They also took note of my request to not put any furniture directly in our new place which has all hardwoord, and put the protector felt pads under the furniture legs/surface that rested on the floor. Lastly they invited to check the truck to ensure none of our stuff was left in the truck. All in all, I would highly recommend Spartan Moving Systems for anybody looking for movers next time. Also, if you pay by cash, you get a 5% discount.

Julio and his team were excellent! They paid special attention to wearing shoe covers when walking on my new carpets and were particularly resourceful at assembling my office desk. Ashish was very thoughtful in our communications, planning and coordinating my move and keeping me informed at all times. I recommend Spartan moving company to everyone. The move was great. The 3 movers arrived at the right time and gave me a 1 hour heads-up before arriving. They were very quick and responsive and double checked with me regarding what needed to be packed up or tossed out and advised me correctly in order to complete my move (including disassembly and reassembly of my bed) within 3 hours.

Spartan Moving provides great service and exceeded my expectations on moving day. I used them to move apartments within San Francisco. They were diligent, careful, and efficient during the move and the support team reached out multiple times before and after the move to make sure I was satisfied. The movers were excellent. They packed up my fragile items with extreme care. There were 3 movers that helped me moved and they did the best job. I moved many times and the Spartan movers were fantastic. They were professional, knowledgeable and followed all of the safely procedures due to COVID-19. I would definitely hire the Spartan moving company again. I also had the pleasure of communicating with the owner Dan. He went over all of the moving details with me and he accommodated all of my requests. Dan delivered on everything that was listed in our contract. Spartan helped me move a couple of weeks ago. Scheduling with Ashish was simple and straightforward. Two days prior, they called to confirm we’re still on. Moving day could not have gone any better. Paco and his crew are very professional and honest. They were super efficient and super careful, it really took the stress out of the moving process. After moving David texted to follow up and make sure everything went smoothly. I can’t recommend Spartan Moving enough.

Our experience with Spartan was excellent. They were very competitively priced and clear in what was included and what was not. When they got here they exceeded our expectations in terms of friendliness and speed of service. They did more than we asked in the 3-hour window and couldn't have helped more. We have already recommended Spartan to our friends and would use them again for any moving needs.

I had a really nice experience with Spartan movers. They were very responsive throughout the process ( enquiry till the day of move). On the day of move, 3 guys came on time. They were very patient and friendly. They laid down rugs making a passage to avoid any scratches and marks. I was moving from a 3 story townhome to a single level home and had a lot of fragile items. They did a spotless job , including disassembly and assembling the furnitures. I have moved a few times before and there always has been hidden cost that is revealed at the end and to my surprise there wasnt any with the Spartan movers. Just by looking at them work for first 30 mins, I was convinced I made the right choice :) . Also after the move they stayed to check if everything is in place or we wanted to move some heavy stuff around. Very professional and respectful. I would choose them again if needed ( although I hope I dont have to move soon ;) ) . Got a follow up call post move to make sure everything was fine which was icing on the cake. I would highly recommend them.

Spartan made my easy, seamless, and pain-free throughout the whole process. They were the quickest to respond to request for quotes - by calling minutes within submission. Other companies were hours if not days later. The gentleman on the phone addressed all my questions and had me booked within minutes. On the day of the move, the movers were 10 min early quoted time. All 3 movers were extremely professional and respectful of our belongings. Overall, I would *absolutely* work with Spartan again, and if its within the Bay Area - look no further! A+

They were great: fast to reply to my message, gave me a quote, showed up on time. Movers were friendly and super quick on both ends: I was hoping to have most of the day to unpack, and bam, totally did. Would highly recommend for small moves. The guys told me they had a piano move after mine, and I could see they were well setup for that, too.

Very professional and fast service. All the necessary equipment is available and the loading and anloading is very fast end efficient. Would recommend to use them for your move.

Everything went well and as expected. The 3 guys from Spartan showed up on time and were very courteous. They even helped us with wrapping some of the furniture to ensure that it did not get damaged. They were great to work with. They were quite accommodating, and professional. I would definitely use Spartan again or recommend it to friends.

I have used services of this company twice already for the move from the city to suburbs (~30 miles apart) and back. Both times they packed all of my staff (that we sorted through before the move to exclude unnecessary items from the move), loaded to their truck, delivered to the door of the new place, unloaded, assembled furniture, left the packages that we wanted to unpack ourselves, unpacked everything else, took away the trash. So the whole experience for us was to sort through our staff and donate what we don’t need, which is something you need to do anyway, and do nothing to prepare for the move, drive to your new place in your car, direct them where to unload packages and where to unpack it or not, let them assemble and put furniture where we want it to be, and then unpack the rest of the packages and put things to where they belong. Easiest move ever! There is no better way to do it and these guys are pros. Highly recommend.

This was the *third* time I’ve used Spartan and I will never use a different moving company in the Bay Area. They have always been no-nonsense and efficient - the two things I value most when I am dealing with the stress of a move. The third thing I value is price, and they win there too. Their rates have always been competitive and I came away feeling I got my cake and ate it too because I receive amazing service at a competitive cost. I actually used Spartan to pack and move this time rather than just move. They packed the whole one bedroom in a few hours and we completed the move across town in six total. A great outcome all around.

I used Spartan to move & couldn’t be happier! They were prompt, communicative and FAST! Sometimes when movers are hourly they move slow to get more $, but this was not the case! They actually took less time than I expected & everything was moved carefully. Highly recommend!
