  • Teague's Tree Svc

This is a very professional company. After the estimate, Tracy said it could be a month before they could get out but would ask the office to call us if there was a cancellation since there was potential for a large limb to fall near the house. In fact, they were able to schedule early. We’ve used Teague’s before and knew to expect good service. Again, it was a professional job. They needed to schedule a second day for stump grinding and removal of a huge number of large above ground roots. This second day was the most impressive work: it was all done by one man, Mike, who worked for several hours alone in 103-degree (+) heat. Both, the original crew as well as Mike, did an exceptional job of cleaning up and hauling away the trunk, limbs, and grinding debris. Mike was actually tasked with smoothing out the areas where huge roots had been and attempting to make the front yard look good. We appreciated his diligence very much. We would not hesitate to call them again if needed

On day one, a large red oak(part of a V shaped tree) uprooted and fell on the lots, roof and fencing of two of my neighbors as well as my own, creating an emergency. I called Jon Chalker at Alamo City Arbor Care. He came immediately. He rescheduled other work and put two crews on the job. They did a super job and minimized damage to roof and fencing. Mr Chalker, a certified arborist, determined that the second tree(the two shared a root system) had been destabilized and needed to come down also. This tree was a monster(about 36"base) He came the second day with two crews and his crane. He had to coordinate with 4 homeowners to do the work. A metal and wooden fence had to be cut and replaced. All were happy when the work was done to include the woman in whose yard the crane was placed. The job took two days to complete. The workers were professional and courteous. Given the complexity of the job it was a miracle that nothing went wrong. I have never been more impressed with any other vendor. The work area was very dense with garden homes so acess was difficult. That the work was completed with no damage or accidents attests to the skill of his crews. Not even a sprinkler head was broken. I am convinced that these guys could handle anything

  • Diamond Tree Care

Exceptional communication and quality work! From start to finish, the experience was positive. Adrian was very response to my inquiry for a cost estimate. He came out same day and gave me a very competitive and reasonable price. He was very knowledgeable and I learned a few new things about the types of trees I had in my yard. I just moved here 2 months ago from Oregon and didn’t know much about the various types of trees here. He was very patient with all my questions and he gave me great information on types of trees we had on our property. The day of the service he came on time and was very professional in his work. He checked with me to make sure that I was happy with the results. Not only would I hire him again but I would recommend him to family and friends. I’m glad to have found a reliable tree care professional that I can go to for all my tree service needs. Don’t hesitate to schedule a service with Adrian. He’s a real gem, a diamond in the business

  • Diamond Tree Care

Adrien and his crew did a fantastic job. He was able to lift the crown of the 2 oaks trees plus show separation to a nearby Mountain Laurel begging for more sun. My trees look beautiful and I will trust Adrien to continue taking care of my trees. He was very professional and pleasant to work with. I am so thankful my daughter referred him to me. I will be a loyal customer of Diamond Tree Care. Adrien far exceeds the past arbor trimming I have experienced with other companies

Tree Service FAQ

  1. How much does it cost to remove a tree?

Answer: Typically, tree removal costs between $200 and $2,000. Tree removal costs vary widely based on the number of trees being removed, the height of each tree, the diameter of each tree trunk, and accessibility to the tree. Smaller trees are usually less expensive to remove than larger ones, as are those that are more easily accessible.

  2. Do you need a permit to cut down a tree?

Answer: In many areas, you don’t need a permit to cut down a tree on your own private, residential property. But some municipalities may require tree removal permits for conservation purposes or to comply with local ordinances. When you hire a tree removal pro, they’ll be able to tell you whether you need a permit for your specific tree removal project.

  3. When is a good time to trim trees?

Answer: In most regions, the best time to trim your trees is during the winter months. During the active growing season (spring through fall), trimming your trees can leave them more vulnerable to disease and less likely to thrive. During the winter months, when trees are dormant, trimming them will cause less stress and leave them ready to grow again in the spring.

  4. What is the average cost to cut a tree down?

Answer: Tree removal costs between $200 and $2,000 per tree. Establishing an average cost can be difficult because each tree will be assessed and priced based on factors like height, trunk diameter, and accessibility. In general, smaller trees cost less to remove than larger trees, as do trees that are more accessible.

  5. How much does it cost to service a tree?

Answer: The cost to service a tree is typically between $430 and $1,320. The cost to service a tree depends on several factors, including what exactly you’d like done, the tree’s height, its health, the location of the tree, and local labor costs. The national average cost for tree services is $865. Tree trimming isn’t necessary for all trees but can improve their health and longevity by encouraging new growth.

  6. What is the difference between tree trimming and pruning?

Answer: While tree trimming and tree pruning might appear similar to the untrained eye, they serve different purposes. Tree pruning is used to thin a tree by removing unnecessary or burdensome branches. Tree trimming promotes healthy growth by trimming but not removing branches.
