"A Best Tree service does an A+ job EVERY TIME. I have been using them for at least 15 years to keep our shrubs trimmed and trees, including 3 Huge Red Oaks and a huge Pecan pruned and in good health. Jesus always returns my calls right away and usually will come by the next day to look at the job and give me a great price. I rarely make comments in this manner, but Jesus and his men deserve the praise!"

"The work performed by Jesus Luna Tree Service was excellent. I put in a request for this work yesterday and he showed up this morning (8/10/2021) to provide a quote. I accepted his price today and the work was also complete today. I would recommend Jesus Luna Tree Service to other and I will be using them again."

"Texas Hill Country Tree Service did a quick, efficient job. They know how to cut trees, painted the cuts, and cleaned up so thoroughly you would hardly know trees had been cut. I highly recommend their service."

"Oak Valley is great and will be coming back to do other trees on my property. My chief complaint is with HomeAdvisor continuing to be in my face (emails) pushing other services and wanting more info about how this service went and what I might need in the future. Based on their pushing, chances are I'll take my searches elsewhere!"

"I've used Texas Sun twice for emergency tree services following storms. The first was to remove a tree that had nearly fallen through my roof. The second was to remove a huge branch that was broken and dangling from a tree over my deck. In both instances Esteban was able to quickly get a team over to my house to remove the tree and branch before further damage was done to my house. Esteban and his team are extremely professional, friendly, and were always on time. I appreciate this company so much and will be using them for future needs."

Tree Service questions, answered by experts

Trees naturally want to grow upward, so one may straighten all by itself, though this only comes into play when a tree is leaning just a small amount. For trees growing into an awkward position or those leaning heavily in one direction, the above steps are necessary to ensure the tree gets back on the right path. This also holds true for trees planted in a spot with unstable soil.

It enhances property aesthetics, improves tree health, and prevents safety hazards.

The fastest ways to remove a tree stump are by grinding it or burning it.

Stump grinding is often the quickest method, with professionals able to chip away a stump and its roots within a single session. You have the option to hire a professional stump removal service or rent a stump grinder to do it yourself. However, it's important to note that these machines can be large, difficult to transport, and dangerous to operate without prior experience. For safety reasons, hiring a local arborist or landscape specialist is often recommended.

Burning is another fast option. Before you begin, check your local burn laws. The process involves drilling holes into the stump, filling them with vegetable oil, and waiting 24 to 48 hours. Afterward, you can add charcoal bricks to the surface and light the fire, which must be attended at all times.

For a more affordable but much slower alternative, you can use potassium nitrate pellets to accelerate the natural decomposition process. This method typically takes four to six months.

Professionals ensure safety, prevent property damage, and handle debris efficiently.

Absolutely. These steps are significantly easier, too, especially when it comes to preserving the root ball and moving the palm tree. However, you will want to make sure the tree has plenty of fertilizer to establish itself and start growing. Supports may also be more important, as it can take extra time for a potted palm to spread out its roots. If you are transferring a palm to another pot, you’ll want to move up a size or two to a larger pot. Make sure the pot has excellent drainage to keep the palm from getting waterlogged.
