"Not well. They first brought a security door with no bars in it. Then the door they finally put on a door that did not have the correct lock. Then the lock on the door would not let my patio screen shut. It took months for the problem to be resolved. Through it all ms Bostic was very professional very compassionate and very helpful..she would call with updates to letme know what was happening..I may not use long again but I would gladly work with Ms Bostic anytime. The best thing long has going for it is Ms Bostic. "My first experience with this company was to install a dishwasher and repair the steps on my deck. That went well, and I was happy. Next, I used this company to install tile and carpeting in my house. Although HD does installations for free, Claudiney said they would move all of my furniture, including four large full bookcases, out of the way so that I wouldn't have to. That's why I hired them. Insist on getting something in writing before writing any checks. I really wish I had. The price I agreed to included moving all of the furniture out of the way, but apparently it did not include moving all of it back. Two of the items that were put back were in the wrong places, and I asked more than once for them to swap them to the right places, but they didn't. At first I was happy. Then, after living with it for a few days, I started noticing things. The guy who did the tile did an excellent job except for three things. First, although most of the mastic was cleaned up, I am still finding smears of it on walls, doors, and furniture. Second, there are still some ungrouted joins between tiles. Third and most important, I am now unable to open the door to my kitchen closet. The tile is in the way! I'd fix it myself, except all my tools are in that closet! Sadly, the carpet was not done as carefully as the tile. The living room looks okay except at the doorway, where it wasn't tacked down at all! The stairs and hallway were clearly done very quickly. In the hallway, seams are very visible. On the stairs, some of the carpet isn't trimmed very closely. I have pictures, if Angi will let me upload them. A thermostat was knocked off the wall during the furniture-moving. Where I eventually found it, on top of a bookcase rather than on the floor, tells me that they knew they had knocked it off and picked it up, but didn't tell me nor attempt to put it back in place which is extremely easy. They also placed a lot of non-recyclable trash in my recycle bin. Good thing I checked. They fine people for that. Also I am missing my big magnet. Possibly it was only moved, and I will find it when I finish rearranging the furniture. But maybe it was inadvertently picked up in their rush to leave. Last but not least, Claudiney never missed an opportunity to tell me that he wants to remodel my bathroom. I told him countless times that I was not considering it at this time (or ever). I don't like it when people don't take no for an answer.show more
