Prior to Adam we had a contractor just ruin our dream to add a new bathroom in our home. Adam came out and from the start was honest, had great communication and literally saved our dream! He showed up everyday, answered all my questions (which I always have many) worked with all city inspectors and plumber to get our wreck of a bathroom fixed, all permitted and usable! SUN DOG CONSTRUCTIONThe project went just great. The Sundog crew discovered wiring where it shouldn't be, and was able to quickly reconfigure upstairs lighting in two different locations and still the the project done on time. This is the third time (maybe fourth?) that we've asked Sundog Construction to help get a project completed, and every time it's been a success. Plus, we like the crew. They're cool, super competent, fast, and easy people to have inside your living space.- Chris B.

The Pull Out Shelf CoGreat. Brad is a great, ethical guy and has a high quality product at a fair price. We moved into a new (to us) house that had great esthetics but was lacking in practical storage. Just adding pull out drawers in the kitchen cabinets, an unused closet in the laundry and a couple of other cabinets made all the difference in the world. Brad is great to work with, really pays attention to detail and has an excellent, quality product. The pull out drawers are lovely, with dovetailing and little bumpers to keep them from scratching or bumping into other cabinets. Highly recommended. TimelessBuildersLet me start by saying, this ADU project was for my daughter, Macy. Macy has I/DD and Autism and will likely not be able to live away from us, her parents, unless she is in assisted living of some sort. However, together with her grandma we sought to create an environment for her to live as independently as possible and for her to grow into. This began our search for the perfect contractor who would understand our needs and work with us to build this ADU for Macy. Enter, Jay Bemis with Timeless Builders. After multiple meetings with contractors, many unreturned calls and emails, we met Jay. He immediately sounded interested and returned with a bid in a timely matter. We accepted this bid and began to move forward with this project. As with any construction project, we ran into unexpected situations. I could not have picked a better partner to handle all of these situations. He maintained focus on finding solutions, worked magic to make things happen that we wanted and came up with additional creative ideas when we couldn’t. He is a true craftsman and he employs the most amazing people! The pandemic hit during our project and he was respectful of our request to wear masks when entering our home. They continued the work and Jay was open about end dates and timelines. Kitchen Concepts NW LLCI chose Kitchen Concepts because of the good reviews on Angie’s List and because Dave Warren was able to show through computer assisted drawings what the kitchen would look like under different scenarios given the existing dimensions of the kitchen. Dave provided the cabinets and countertops but the remodel work was performed by Ed and his crew, who Dave has associated with for years. The kitchen turned out well, with new flooring, appliances, cabinets with soft close hinges, and beautiful quartz countertops. It was a huge improvement for a kitchen that had not been remodeled in 20 years. Based on the good results on the kitchen, I contracted them to remodel the rest of the house, which meant remodeling three bathrooms, updating a living room, five bedrooms, a family room, entryway, stairway, and hall. It also involved a structural change in moving the entryway closet to an otherwise unused space under the stairwell, freeing up space to enlarge the master bathroom. There is new flooring in all areas of the house. The bathrooms and all parts of the house look beautiful. I especially like the new doors, door frames, and molding throughout the house. Working with Dave and Ed was great, and I would recommend them to anyone who needs remodeling work.- Tim L.

PORTLAND CLOSET COHad three areas that needed attention when I moved in to my new condo. Portland Closet was able to do my pantry and laundry room utility shelving right away, which let me get settled in perfectly. The master closet took a little longer because COVID-19 hit right after we ordered the materials (I requested rounded-edge drawer fronts, which they did not have in stock in the finish I wanted). However, Portland Closet stayed in touch throughout the shutdown and as soon as it was safe to re-start installations, they came back and finished the installation. I love my new master closet! Creative Tile and Remodel LLCAfter interviewing many contractors to complete a home remodel project I was pleased to meet Tibor Lakatos, owner of Creative Tile and Remodel LLC. I immediately felt comfortable with his work ethic and overall approach to my project. He listened to my ideas and offered suggestions to improve the project without being pushy. Each day he informed me when he would arrive, the tasks to be performed, provided an update of the progress and left my home tidy. I was very impressed with his professionalism and had no reservation giving him access to my home in my absence. Tibor also has a wonderful network of tradesmen and vendors who enjoy working with him as well. The teamwork was amazing and the coordination of the various schedules was seamless. Best of all, the project started and ended on schedule and was within budget. I am thrilled with the craftsmanship and creativity Tibor brought to my home and have received many compliments from friends and family. We had Closet Factory in Centennial, Colorado, design and install and expanded pantry and mud room on one side of our laundry room. Leslie Klinck, our designer, did an amazing job! Her expertise and skills were obvious at every step in the design process. The two installers, Agustin Montoya and Ricardo Rodriguez, are highly seasoned professionals who bent over backwards to make a few needed adjustments in the midst of the installation. Everyone at Closet Factory was a pleasure to work with. Closet Factory also did three walk-in closets for us when we moved in last year. Again, superb design work and flawless installations. My wife and I give Closet Factory the highest possible rating and recommendation. They earned them!

Would not call them ever again. Adam and another person showed up 20 minutes early. When I answered the door, I asked them to wait just a few minutes as I was wrapping up with someone else and they were early. They said “yeah sure no problem.” Before I even closed the door, they checked their watch. Within 1 minute of me asking them to wait, I could hear them say “Should we just go?” multiple times. They left 1 minute after me asking them to wait. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and waited 15 minutes after our appointment time before emailing (35 minutes after they left). Then at 25 minutes after our appointment scheduled time, I called twice, was sent to voice mail and left a message with no response. Complete disrespect for my time to show up early, not even bother to wait 1 minute, and then no show & no response. Dodged a bullet by not hiring this contractor.

The handyman scheduled (Tony) did not show for our appointment. The office called to tell us that Tony had a large job before ours and that he would likely be a little late, but that he would show up well within the two hour window allowed from his start time. The office told us that they would keep us advised if things changed concerning the arrival time. Tony did not show up during the two hour window from his scheduled start time, and we never heard from the office. We would not use this company in the future.

JT built Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) for us back in 2018-2019. The job scope is super extensive: getting plan, permits, foundation, framing, windows/doors drywall, painting, flooring, kitchen, bathroom, heating, plumbing etc. The list went on. JT was very professional. He delivered amazing communication and kept us updated regarding the status of the projects with honesty and integrity. The price is very reasonable especially after we see the craftsmanship/quality he delivered. We rent our ADU as airbnb. We constantly get compliments from guests how beautiful it is. I strongly recommend JT to anyone who is looking for general contractor.
