I started in the Masonry business in 1976 and have been working ever since. I started my business in 1980 and incorporated in 1986. We are a small company with an experienced crew. They've all worked with me for the last 20 years. Experienced with working with condo associations and large building tuck pointing, brickwork, and stone work.
"We had three estimates and Roger was our clear choice because he noticed so many important things that needed fixing that the other two missed. His higher level of expertise was obvious. This work included many projects, involving a tremendous amount of labor. It took several weeks to totally complete. Roger offered suggestions for our front steps, which could have been left as concrete but we decided to splurge and use our favorite rock as an overlay. We special ordered Morton Gneiss (rock) from Coldspring for the step overlays and the buttress caps, in addition to the special order of two colors of brick for the buttresses. We personally researched and chose the rock and the brick. Roger has the experience and expertise to know what should be done and how best to do it. We enjoyed meeting and working with Roger and his crew. He has the most amazing crew of extremely experienced and expert workers. We can't say enough good things about Curtis, Chris, and Chaz. Their work was remarkably meticulous and skilled and showed the pride they take in it. In addition, they are very personable and courteous. They tidied up before leaving each day. If they came upon unforeseen problems, they discussed them with us and then fixed them, some at no extra charge. They even prepared a base and moved the two former heavy concrete buttress caps to our boulevard to use as a walkway at no charge. As a potential customer, if Roger doesn't get back to you right away, don't give up because he does return calls and he is most definitely worth the wait. He is extremely busy and we feel very fortunate that he was the contractor for our project."

Mike Hage told us he wasn‘t sure they would get to our project before winter but we could put a 10% deposit down ($595) to hold the price for next year. In retrospect, that should have been a red flag because every other contractor we talked to wouldn’t take any money until they showed up to do the job. We ended up changing our plans before Hage even scheduled our project— still telling us they might not get to it until next year. We asked for our deposit back and he said no, essentially because in a document they sent us (but not the contract we signed) it stated that deposits are nonrefundable. We asked if he would please consider a partial refund, as I can understand the time it took to give us the estimate (even though those are free). He replied saying that our $595 deposit doesn’t even begin to cover the work their office does “printing photos, making job packets, and purchasing the permit.” I asked if any of that work had even been done considering our job wasn’t even going to be done until next year. He replied saying, “I am your salesman not the owner or your scapegoat. Please direct any further inquiries to the office directly as I have no knowledge of what has or has not been done-which makes no difference anyway.” Shocked by this rude and inconsiderate response. No accountability from Mike Hage of Hage Concrete. Hope this review prevents someone else from getting swindled."

They came when they promised and completed the work on time (even in the 95 degree heat). They left great instructions regarding when I could drive on it and what I should and should not do while garage floor and driveway cure. I would absolutely hire them again. They may not be the cheapest, but they certainly provide value for what you get."
