Everdry Waterproofing of CincinnatiIt went great! It was a full week's job and on the last day they even brought 2 crews to meet their deadline. They were on time every day, worked non-stop and full on every day. The results have been great! The basement is now dry and I don't have to worry about water damage. The battery went out on the sump pump and they came out right away to replace it. They've been great to work with. Even before they started they did a thorough job on assessing the situation and giving us the estimate. Maeser Master ServicesThe AC stopped working. I was clueless; the unit is about 8 years old, wasn't top of the line new and we've done very little preventive maintenance beyond changing the filter. Technician found the problem in maybe five minutes, obtained the part, installed it and was out in about an hour. He was competent and professional . You can get a good condensate pump for $60, $80 and it's a quick and simple install, so it's possible some other outfit might have done it a little cheaper. But some other outfit could just as easily sold me the pump after a new compressor didn't do the trick. Over the long run getting it done right the first time probably doesn't cost more, and I avoid that head-vein-throb thing that happens when I get ripped off.- Sharon K.

They were on time and fixed the faucet, talked with us about replacing an older sump pump and we agreed to have them replace that as well. He inspected and replaced some old valves and copper piping that was developing a leak. He took his time to make sure that everything was completed properly. He even made sure that the temperature setting was the same as it had been before. (I have young children who like to play with the faucets, and I didn't want the temperature too hot.) I purchased a house that had been previously treated by BDry of Louisville. The seller failed to make me aware that the warranty on the work had to be transferred within 45 days (to be fair, who remembers tricky little rules like that intended to screw the consumer?) or it was void. Crappy rule, clearly intended to break the warranty when a house gets sold. They have the address - not like there is any possibility of confusion about where the work was done. No now I am selling the house. No warranty - ok, it is what it is. So I just asked Lynn at BDry to just provide a little info on what work was done. BDry refused to disclose due to "company policy" because I wasn't the original buyer. OK, don't understand - it is my house now, but it is clear we aren't getting past this. So I suggest: how about I contact the person I bought the house from, and ask them to agree to let BDry get me info on the job? that should satisfy company policy. So now the story changes: yesterday it was "we will need permission from the person who contracted with us". Today, Lynn asks an unnamed VP (and refused to give me the VPs name when asked - so petty) - and the mystery VP (Lynn said "she") said the only thing they were willing to do is come out for $125 and "inspect" the system and provide a report. All I want is a copy of the paperwork - that Lynn already had to pull and had in hand. How hard is that to make a "second degree' customer happy? But no - not even with approval from the original owner. Disappointing. I certainly won't ever use them based on this experience. To be fair - basement has been dry the whole time we've been there. Not sure if that is because of the work, or because the original flooding hasn't happened again - because I'm not sure what exactly they did.

I had some wet carpet in my basement that we were 99% sure was a crack in the concrete wall. I wanted to find a company that would not only repair the crack, but take down the drywall and find it as well (not something I felt up to doing myself). They were great, and they'll do that for a very reasonable extra fee. Was able to get on the schedule and they called the day of to confirm the time. Great experience, would definitely hire again.
