The communication has always been great, the workmanship and professionalism outstanding. As noted, we’ve had them back to do our other bathrooms and we’re always happy with the results. We did price some others on our most recent work, and while Updike wasn’t the cheapest, they were close, and the confidence we had based on prior work meant a lot. Bottom line, we’ve had zero disappointments using them. They are highly recommended by u

Hope Plumbing was amazing, and I see why they're so popular. They called me within 5 minutes of contacting them on Angi, scheduled my appointment, and set pricing expectations right off the bat. The plumber who came to my home was super friendly and fixed the drain in only a few minutes, and he even made recommendations for how we could troubleshoot the drain ourselves in the future. I will be calling Hope Plumbing again if we need ANY other plumbing service. They're my new go-to

Hope Plumbing came out on Wednesday for a toilet repair. We believed the toilet to be leaking from the tank bolts, so Domenic replaced the tank bolts and also (3) valves within the bathroom, installed a Delta faucet and installed a new flapper in our other bathroom toilet. After testing the repair repeatedly, Domenic left for the day. We discovered yet another leak right after he left our house, and we contacted Hope Plumbing who put us in contact with Domenic. He was not very far down the road and was gracious enough to turn around and help with this new problem. Upon inspection of the toilet, we decided it could not be fixed (a small crack in the front of the bowl) , so he arranged to have a new toilet installed the next day. He came back the next morning with a new toilet, took the old toilet away, and the installation went very smooth and quick. We will hire Hope Plumbing for our future repairs

I hired Hope Plumming to replace my sewer line, after my old clay sewer line collapsed. It happened 2 days before Christmas, and Hope, was super responsive and helpful to get the job done, as there were some challenges, due to winter with extenuating weather circumstances. They went above and beyond helping to keep my neighbors updated as my line required use of a mutually shared alley. Since then they have also installed a new water heater and water softener. As a repeat customer I would definitely recommend the team at Hope

We recently had a leak in our crawlspace that did extensive damage to our home. Hope Plumbing not only was quick to arrive and stop the leak so we could restore water to the rest of our home but they also recommended a great restoration company to prevent further mold growth and ensure our home was clean and safe. Over the multi week project, Hope Plumbing was super accommodating as they worked alongside the restoration team, general contractors and the granite company. They also discovered an issue with our sump pump - something completely unrelated to what they had come for, but ultimately saved us from a more significant damage. We’re always quick to recommend them and they’ll always be our preferred plumber

Exceeded my expectations. I have had them do major re-pipe job and this was a minor repair compared to above but they arrive on time, are excellent at communications and safety (they send a photo of your repairperson so you know who is coming) very personable, yet get the job done so professionally and efficiently. I will NOT use a different plumbing or HVAC company unless these guys change. Can't say enough good things about the

October 21' our condensation line backed up causing water damage, it was one of the last times we used A/C for the year. Peterman tech came out to unclog and make any repairs needed. We paid out of our pocket to repairs all damages to our home and unit. They recommended one piece in our heat pump be replaced and they said our system was running good for it's age. Fast forward to May 22' first time we turn the A/C on for the year, everything backs up again and more water damage than back in October. When I first called that Thursday morning they said no one could come out until Monday, I called several times asking to speak to higher up. I finally spoke to a customer service rep that could have someone out that day. Friday at 5:30pm our case has officially been escalated to customer retention. They had management that Monday to assess the situation and identify were the ball was dropped. They took full responsibility and their insurance covered all damages. Once I had vendors and their insurance squared away to pay the $11,500 in damages, I requested that Peterman Brothers send out a tech for full maintenance on the system so we can assure everything is properly working and avoid this issue. The tech proceeded to tell us we had $7k in repairs to be running at 80% and recommended a Comfort Advisor quote a new system (6 months ago mind you, our system was good to go) for $12k with a discount for the lack of experience we have had. I decided to get a second opinion, the competitor shared everything came back right in the middle for his readings and he saw no signs that would suggest a new unit as the home was being properly cooled. I reached back out to our contact to share the feedback and to cancel our membership as it was obvious they were not providing honest servicing. She shared she would refund the monthly fee that was charged just one day prior and send a $50 giftcard for our inconveniences; it's been a month since I spoke with the company and have yet to be credited our monthly fee or the giftcard that was offered. I would never recommend this company to anyone and will be sharing our experience when I can. It truly was a nightmare of an experience that my husband and I were driving the ship on the entire time to receive the low standard that we did get

The visit went well. David was punctual, patient personable, and very informative. He explained what he was doing in detail because I asked him many questions. I appreciate his taking attentive time and care to the jobs I wanted done and for making me feel at ease with his entire visit.

Plumbing FAQ

  1. How much does a plumber cost?

Answer: The cost of a plumber ranges from $175 to $480, with a national average of $330. However, the price will vary depending on job complexity, timing, location, supplies and materials, permits, and level of expertise. These costs typically include toilet repairs, faucet installations, and leaky pipes. In addition to the service call, you may also need to budget for haul-away and trip fees often required during more complicated jobs. Ask your local plumbing contractor about these fees before hiring them.

  2. How much does a plumber charge to replace a toilet?

Answer: On average, you can expect to pay your local plumbing contractor between $125 and $230 to replace an old toilet, with most residential homeowners paying around $150 to $180 for professional installation. You’ll need to consider materials and labor when calculating a final price. Not all toilets are equal. Depending on the brand you choose and the features you want, a new toilet might run you anywhere from $100 to $1,300. Add in the price of labor and installation, and your total project can jump up to $200 and $1,500.

  3. How much does a plumber cost to fix a toilet?

Answer: According to our service providers, it costs roughly $75 to $200 on average to have your toilet repaired. However, this price will vary depending on the complexity of the job and the materials needed for the fix. Repairs can be messy and less-than-pleasant to address, but having a functioning toilet is most definitely necessary. If you’re experiencing problems with your toilet, contact a local, reputable plumbing contractor right away, as avoiding repairs can lead to bigger—and more expensive—issues over time.

  4. Is liquid plumber safe for septic systems?

Answer: Good news! Liquid-Plumr® is safe for septic systems. Most drain cleaners disrupt the pH in your septic tank, which prevents the good bacteria from breaking down septic waste. The chemical make-up in Liquid-Plumr® works with the bacteria to break down waste quickly without harming your septic system. Still, it’s best to confirm with your local plumbing provider if Liquid-Plumr® is the right solution for your system.

  5. How much is it for a plumber to unclog a toilet?

Answer: Even the most well-maintained toilets experience clogs. It’ll cost you an average of $200 to $700 to unclog your toilet. Severe clogs will require a more comprehensive repair method, so check with your local plumbing contractor to determine the best approach for unclogging your toilet.

  6. Is Liquid-Plumr®, or any other liquid drain cleaner, safe for septic systems?

Answer: Yes and no. Liquid-Plumr® and other drain cleaners are most effective when used sparingly (one to three times a year). Repeated use of liquid plumber on drains could deteriorate your pipes and cause more damage. If your pipes clog frequently, put down the liquid plumber and call your local plumbing contractor immediately.
