Amazing! Their team is so great to work with! Their office manager Megan was so kind when we first called, got her tech out right away and has been wonderful to work with while we had to get our new system installed. Greg handled our install and was extremely friendly & worked efficiently to get our new system installed & educate us on how to take care of it properly. Went great, quick and easy, very good service. I also order my replacement salt from Elgin Water Care. They deliver it, carry it to my basement, and fill up the softener as needed.

Wonderful! What an amazing company! I worked with Megan in the office and she answered my 103 questions about the softener and the water system. She said I would stop buying bottle water after installing it, I didn't believe her....but I haven't bought bottle water in over a month. The service tech that installed was great too and did great with my dog, who can be a jerk. Would I recommend them? So much so that I bought another system for our family lake house!

It went very well. I received an estimate and had the water softener installed a week later. I had three estimates. One I felt like I was talking to a car salesman, the other automatically added a $99 "membership" giving me services I don't need, plus the cost was over $600 higher. The Elgin estimate was reasonable and thorough. Scott did a great job explaining everything that needed to be done. The installation went well and, again, Scott explained everything that he was doing and how the water softener works. I would definitely recommend Elgin Water Care!

Josh was on time, very efficient, professional and clean and went above and beyond! The office called after the install to inform me of what had happened to my previous softener ( from another company) and why it needed replaced. Let me know the pressure going in was way to high and recommended I have a pressure reducer valve added so it prevents my new one from doing the same as the last one. Without that call from Megan, we would have been replacing another softener very soon. Very appreciative of the preventive and informative call that could have cost us another $1500!! Instead they offered to do the work themselves instead of hiring a plumber. Thanks Elgin, for being a great and honest Company.

Prompt and orofessional

The installation was prompt and the installers were very courteous and respectful of my house. The water softener is now about 4 months old and it seems to be a quality unit. I would not hesitate to recommend Elgin Water Care. They explained their product and installation process better than the other companies that quoted me. Their price was not the lowest quote I had, but I felt most comfortable giving them the work.

I had a few people recommend them. When I called, they were friendly, responsive, and could come out right away. They showed up on time and did the necessary work.

I called them in the morning, they came out that afternoon. It was an cancellation, but I was still impressive. They did a great job. They were tidy, cleaned up everything. I was quite impressed. That is always harder, I didn't compare them to others. It was more than the old one, but the new one will last as long.

Same day response and we went from our first email inquiry to install in 4 business days. The sales representative was well informed and very helpful. The installer was not only an expert on the new equipment being installed, he also pointed out that our old system and filter system had been installed incorrectly and he re-routed some of our plumbing (at NO additional charge) just to make sure that the new Elgin system was installed to specification (we wound up buying both a whole house filter and a new water softener). Elgin has joined B&W plumbing as being among my favorite local family owned professional service businesses. Can't recommend them highly enough.
