- Residential Warranty Services IncI called the claims service and they authorized the work with no questions asked. They gave me the name and number of A Affordable Appliance Repair. The call to the claims service took approximately two minutes. The yearly cost for the basic warranty is $335 with a $75 deductible. You can judge for yourself if this price is reasonable
- Complete Appliance Protection IncIt went very well. I've had this type of service in the past and I ended my contract because I always had to find the service provider and then submit forms to be reimbursed by the warranty company. It's very different with Complete Protection. I called them and received an authorization code and number to a local service provider. I called the provider, gave them the number and was scheduled for service. The provider, by the way, was great. They were very nice, quite prompt in getting out to see us and they were quickly able to diagnose the problems. Obviously, this reflects well on Complete Protection since they selected the provider. All I had to do was sign the work form once the job was done to my satisfaction and it was. We do pay a monthly fee to this protection, but it is very reasonable given the amount of appliances and systems it covers. Like anyone else, I don't like to pay for protection I may never need, but the peace of mind I get from knowing that Complete Protection will help me if I need it is worth the expense
- Complete Appliance Protection IncUnfortunately, I cannot remember the exact date of service. However, I had a great experience with CP. I thought my furnace had gave out on me. Before calling CP, I had at least 5 company come in to give me a quote. They all said it needed to be replaced. The last company that came out noticed that a wire was disconnected. Hmmm... Who might have done that? Well, after he connected it, the next day the furnace started working again. Well, it stopped once again. I called CP to have them send a technician. They quickly provided me with two different companies to choose from. I tried one of them but never received a phone call back. I then called the second and they immediately offered me date of service that worked best for my schedule. The quality of service received from that company was A+. The tech needed some assistance from CP to verify authorization, check on coverage of a part, and other information. I over heard the person from CP asking the tech if he had checked a particular area of the furnace and he had not. This actually helped me saved thousands of dollars. Needless to say, my furnace is working
- Home Security of America IncIt is good to have because it saves us a little money on our claims. When we have a home issue, it is not going to cost us as much as it would be otherwise. I have mixed feelings about the home warranty thing. They are great, but sometimes they say they will replace something when they are not really going to, unless it is absolutely necessary. It would be nice if we did not have to pay $75 just to have someone look at something. They are responsive, punctual, and professional. We will probably continue to use their services
- Home Security of America IncTHEY WERE NOT ABLE TO DO ANYTHING ABOUT THE LEAK WITH THE GLASS ENCLOSURE, THOUGH THEY DID REPAIR THE WATER HEATER, GARBAGE DISPOSAL AND THE DRYER. THEY ARE VERY PROMPT, IF YOU CALL THEY ARE VERY PROMPT AND CALL BACK TO CHECK TO SEE IF THINGS WORKED OUT.

- Home Security of America IncIf I had not had HSA's coverage available my husband and I would not have been able to purchase our home. The house was built in 1929 and many of the appliances were older and not all the plumbing and electrical lines had been updated. In the first year, I would have to say HSA saved us about $2000.00 in replacement and repair costs. I just renewed I coverage and plan to keep renewing. They used great companies and their CSR's are always helpful and polite. They rock

"I initiated a warranty claim on the failure of my homes HVAC system. I called the local office and asked what I needed to do? I was told I could call in my preferred HVAC tech to check out. Once I knew the problem I called back in to see how to get resolved? I was told I did not follow the correct process and the claim would not be covered. I told them I followed the process that was explained to me over the phone. Long story short, after many phone calls back and forth, they sent out one of their preferred HVAC techs who noted the same problem as my HVAC tech. I then called back to see how to resolve, they said they would send out a check for the covered repair. Two weeks go by, I never received a check. I called back only to be told the check was sent to their preferred HVAC tech. I said I was told the check was to be sent to me. Once again they said a check would be sent to me. I never received a check. After many phone calls, I was told I need to send them proof that the system had been repaired. I sent them copies of my receipts. I called back in to check the status of my check. I was told "we pay net 30 days"! Its now been 40 days since I filed my original email showing proof of repair. At this point I think they want me to give up. I honestly would not do business with this company!
