"When I started my project I really wasn’t sure what I wanted except the old shower and bathtub gone and replaced with a walk-in shower and cabinet where the old shower was. Talking with Dan he started asking questions and suggested options. He was right on with what I wanted and didn’t realize. Took popcorn off ceiling, removed wallpaper, retextured walls, replaced old cabinets, tiled floor. He talked with me throughout the project on any problems that arose and answered questions I had as he proceeded through the project. They were very professional and cleaned up after each days work. "Stay away from this company at all costs. We had a large custom solarium window that needed to be replaced as part of a bedroom and bathroom remodel. I asked for a quote from Sunshine Sunrooms. Jerry Lackey the General Manager and Danny Ortiz the Project Manager came to my house, reviewed the project, and said they could absolutely handle the job. Jerry talked about how great their customer service was, how well they communicated, how I would be kept informed every step of the way, and how smooth the process would be. Even though Jerry was more like a used car salesman than a contractor, I decided to go with them because I thought they had expertise in this area. Unfortunately, none of what they promised from a customer service, communication, or timeliness of the process standpoint never materialized. I was the one who had to constantly follow up for updates on the build, delivery, and installation of the product. Throughout that process, I was given misinformation about when shipments would arrive, the completeness of shipments, and when installation could occur. I was told that all parts had arrived only to find out after the fact key pieces were missing because they didn't inventory their shipments. I was told installers would start on a certain day only to be told the original installer refused to do the project. This delayed our overall remodel for weeks because this window had to be installed before the bathroom was completed. This left us trying to get by with limited bathroom facilities and sleeping areas. Throughout all of this, even though Jerry Lackey admitted he knew what was going on, he never reached out to apologize or offer to help rectify the situation. The only other time I heard from Jerry was when he called me to threaten me with legal action on my property because I asked them for some consideration in the overall fees due to the inconvenience they put my family through. Can't tell you how frustrating this company was to deal with and having Jerry Lackey threaten me was just the icing on the cake."

"I made multiple attempts to contact this company and never received the courtesy of a response. Perhaps my initial job was not big enough. I just purchased my home and have a multitude of updates I plan to do within the next year but wanted to start with interior painting with sheet rock repairs and install a French door that required cutting out the existing wall, framing in the door then painting the interior before moving on to replacing 900 sq feet of wood flooring. Phase two would be to update kitchen and bathrooms..... however, if I can't get a response for a "small" job then I can't trust a response for a big job."
