General Remodeling
I made multiple attempts to contact this company and never received the courtesy of a response. Perhaps my initial job was not big enough. I just purchased my home and have a multitude of updates I plan to do within the next year but wanted to start with interior painting with sheet rock repairs and install a French door that required cutting out the existing wall, framing in the door then painting the interior before moving on to replacing 900 sq feet of wood flooring. Phase two would be to update kitchen and bathrooms..... however, if I can't get a response for a "small" job then I can't trust a response for a big job.

Angi also has a messaging system where you can leave messages to us should you choose that instead of email or phone. You did not do that. While you may be disappointed that we didn't make contact, your poor rating is unfair in that we never worked for you or even talked to you. Project: Remodel a Kitchen Roy and Mac are very professional, knowledgeable and great to work with. We had a pretty major remodel which was a taking a wall out of the kitchen to open it up to the dining/living area. This include removing cabinets, adding cabinets, refinishing cabinets, adding new beams for structural bracing, re-texturing and painting wall, adding light fixtures, etc. We also had an existing porch expanded and enclosed for a sun-room at the same time the kitchen was coming together. The kitchen and sun-room both turned out great!

We used Roy (Hodges Construction) to build our new house. He came out to our job site constantly and offered experienced advise on issues that we would never have thought to ask. His team is professional and even when hiccups happened, which is inevitable with such an undertaking, he corrected the issues and made sure that we got the best product. Beginning to end, I would only recommend Mr. Hodges for any of our construction needs!!

I had met with a few contractors for the job but chose Hodges Construction after meeting with the owner Roy Hodges. He and his employees were prompt, extremely thorough, and reliable. It was a rather large job as a new home build in which I had many questions throughout the process but Mr. Hodges always took the time to walk me through the process and help me put my mind at ease. His employees were courteous when my husband and I would show up to see the updated progress and also very helpful. It really was refreshing to have a contractor that you can trust and sees a job completed from start to finish in a timely manner all while showing patience for us as it was our first custom built home.

The main part of their job basically was some general contracting work. It went very well for the most part. They were recommended to me by someone that I knew who knew someone that had used them. The owner was very easy to work with. I am not sure if I would use them for a large construction job as they did not always seem to be real organized but they did a wonderful job with the windows. I have gotten some other recommendations in the interim that I would probably try before them.

Recommended by a friend in the home construction field, so I did not seek other estimates. I knew very much what I wanted done. He understood what we wanted, commenting "I see you know just what you want" and gave us his estimate quickly. Each "crew" he had out, pouring the foundation, framing, bricklaying, and finishing, did their job in a professional manner. I know enough to know they were all experts in their fields. A couple of misunderstandings about what we wanted with the workers were corrected by Roy right away. After the room was completed with a bare concrete floor, Roy recommended someone to put down ceramic tile for us (I had considered doing it myself, but my wife and son talked me out of it.) and they also did an excellent job. Roy is a very pleasant person as were all the people on his crews. Overall, I could not be more pleased with the job.
