DFW Quality Remodeling

When I started my project I really wasn’t sure what I wanted except the old shower and bathtub gone and replaced with a walk-in shower and cabinet where the old shower was. Talking with Dan he started asking questions and suggested options. He was right on with what I wanted and didn’t realize. Took popcorn off ceiling, removed wallpaper, retextured walls, replaced old cabinets, tiled floor. He talked with me throughout the project on any problems that arose and answered questions I had as he proceeded through the project. They were very professional and cleaned up after each days work. I would recommend him and use him again in the future.

Complete master bath remodeling including beautiful ceremic tile installation for shower and installation of plank vinyl tile flooring and vanity. Dan was very attentive of his work and cost efficiency. Checked with me each step completed to my satisfaction. Such a pleasure to work with on all finishing items also to complete a beautiful remodel of my bathroom.

Prompt, professional, and attention to quality! Dan was a pleasure to work with and answered all my questions honestly and immediately. Dan was great to work with, and un fact we got along quite well, until I had problems with the finished product. The bathroom was a total gut. The indication there may be problems was when one of the vanities was installed. It was not level because the floor was not level. He had to shim one end to make it level and then covered up the problem by putting quarter round molding around the base of each vanity cabinet. The bathroom floor tile job is poor - uneven tiles and bad grouting. Makes it uncomfortable to walk on the floor. Even the shower floor is bad in some spots. We have a basket weave tile and because of poor installation - bumps in the flooring/not level - the small black tiles stick up. Again, making it uncomfortable stepping on certain areas in the shower. Since November 2020 I've been trying to get him to look at the problems with the bathroom floor and fix it. He continuously puts me off by stating he will come when he can. Never committing to a specific date. At this point I do not trust that he has any intention of fixing the errors. He told the BBB that he spoke with me and scheduled to come in April. Not true. We never spoke about scheduling in April. It is now June and I have not seen him or spoken to him. He also told the BBB he reimbursed me. What he neglected to make clear is that he reimbursed me for painting the baseboards and door frames in the bathroom, because that was not done properly. I had to pay someone else to fix that problem. I will continue to seek further recourse.

Perfect! Dan has done a great job for us. Our house is 42+ years old, and was in dire need of updating. He helped us select tile, flooring, and paint colors. He guided us thru all the "little decisions" that come up during a major remodel - presenting various options for us to consider. He's quick to make adjustments or changes as requested, and always has a positive & professional attitude. We had both tubs replaced with tile showers, new countertops, sinks & faucets installed, cabinets painted and new cabinet doors & drawers installed, recessed lighting installed, kitchen flooring installed, wallpaper removed in order to texture & paint walls, and also had the stained dark wood paneling in the living room painted. One especiallly nice thing is that they clean up the work area each day before they leave. The house looks great! We will definitely call Dan again when we're ready to remodel the rest of the house. We highly recommend using this company.

Dan made the remodel process easy and not stressfull. He is very kind and easy going. It was a pleasure working with him. I liked that they cleaned up the workspace at the end of each day. The estimate provided was competitive and there were no surprises. Any additional work that was needed was discussed with me before it was done. He has been extremely responsive to correct any minor areas of concern. We have not used the bathroom yet, as we are still cleaning it and adding accessories, however it looks beautiful!

When he had stripped my old shower he found rotting wood inside which he promptly got rid of and replaced with good wood. His prices are reasonable and worth the quality he puts in. I would end by saying that Dan Valles is one of a kind and a rare breed of remodelers, very hard to find. Thankful for a great shower which we will enjoy for years to come.

Dan did a great job! The bathroom is perfect...no more big bulky tub and replaced with a big beautiful shower. He walked us through picking out the tile, vanities, counter top, and shower door....very helpful. He finished the job on time. I am not sure what to add except I recommend them for your next remodel.

Our experience with Dan and his team was wonderful. They were extremely professional and pleasant. Dan is amazing. He is present everyday and does much of the work himself. I can not speak more highly of Dan and his two-man crew. They started and ended the project according to schedule, worked with me to get exactly what I wanted and asked for my input throughout the process. They were on time every day, cleaned up after themselves at end of each day and let me know status updates regularly. The finishes are beautiful. I appreciated the good sources Dan gave me for material purchasing. I love my new bathroom and closet! Dan, removed our existing kitchen backslash and installed a new tiled backslash. We are very please with the work.

Dan and his crew are very punctual and their work is of the highest of quality. Dan is very detailed. He explained the whole process from the start to the end. Dan remodeled our bathroom which included removing our bathtub, vanity, counter top, toilet, and existing tile on the floor. He installed  a new custom shower where the bathtub use to be, new vanity and counter top, porcelain tile on the floor and in the shower, can lighting, toilet, and painted the bathroom. Dan finished the project prior to the date he told us. We are very please with  the quality of work and I look forward to working with him again.
