"I am sorry you did not find me to be professional. I came directly from another project to meet with you at 10:00 AM. I was wearing a company logo shirt and khaki shorts. I was made to feel uncomfortable when you came to the door wearing pajamas. Further more, you did not seem to have any clear direction on the remodeling that you wanted completed. You asked me, “What would you do?” with no specifics or regard to what you wanted an estimate on. I then started asking you questions to get an idea of what you were looking for like replacing flooring, replacing cabinets, refinishing cabinets, and other ideas. You briefly spoke about moving some items, filling in a window, and putting up brick. So, I wrote these ideas down while you made what sounded like a personal phone call. I took some measurements and waited for you to finish your phone conversation. Next, we spoke a few minutes more and you made another phone call in the middle of our conversation. At this point I felt like you had no real interest in working with me. I thought it would be best to respect both of our time and conclude the estimate. Sincerely, Dan"
"i am sorry for the miscommunication. I did come out on a Thursday and looked at your project. I remember telling you that I am pretty busy at this time. I do not work on the weekends. As I tell everyone. The weekends I spend with my family. I also remember telling you I would have a proposal to you by the following weekend. Which has not come up yet. Sorry for the miscommunication. Sincerely, Dan"
