  • Reilly's Handyman Services
Norm's middle name is "flexible/reasonable." I have had the honor of working with him, his son, and the various crews he employs for four years. During that time they hung siding, repaired other siding, painted, plastered interior/exterior surfaces, laid stone/grouted it, repaired water damaged ceilings, and I have only begun to name the various services he has performed. He and his crews were ALWAYS PUNCTUAL, and extremely flexible with our scheduling needs. His final services to us were to prepare our house for market, and he and his crew did a remarkable job!! He is as honest a person as he can be, his advice is always sound, and he won't quote a job that doesn't need to be done. In my experience, he is one of the most trustworthy, honest, and forthright professionals I have ever met or worked with!! Richard Wunderli

  • Rosati Windows
They were real professional during the estimate. A friend that loves them had recommended them. They were professional and very good at communicating. They were not the lowest quote of some of the quotes that I got. They were not outrageous or anything but they were too high of a quote for us.

  • W&S Construction
Absolutely best service I have ever had. Quality was top notch, Willy is a great guy and he will be my handyman for life. No brainer!

  • Simple Bath & Simple Kitchen
The installation team was punctual, polite and cleaned up the job site each day. There were only minimal disruptions to our routines during the install. All in all, we could not be happier.

We looked at several contractors prior to settling on Home Remedies—guys in slick vans with branded polo shirts. Most either passed up on our work for bigger jobs or quoted us outrageous prices. Scott and Doug, on the other hand, were fairer and more professional toward toward us at every step despite being just a 2-man shop. They guys did a solid job with our attic, especially for the price and considering how many moving parts the job had (framing, drywall, window replacement, painting, etc.). They were courteous, efficient, and shared lots of information throughout the project, which was great for us as new homeowners with lots of questions. They stuck to their timeline. And when something wasn't quite right with the work after the project (some drywall mudding didn't set properly), they came back and fixed it—no fuss, no delay, no questions asked. They made it right. They're good, honest, all-around contractors. We would absolutely hire them again

  • High Point Cabinets
AAA+++ quality, communication, construction. Crews were very professional. David knows his business and Susan is excellent at helping with color and option choices. Would hire again in a heart beat. Custom closet is to die for! Words cannot describe the quality. Thanks High Point for being patient while we worked out our builder problems

  • Columbus Reclaimed
Great job, very punctual and professional, always answered my calls which is very unusual for a contractor. They did a great job, and they were always looking for my ideas and feedback. I will be going back to them for any future work.

  • Renaissance Inc - The House Whisperer
It went very well. There were a few unexpected glitches beyond the control of the contractor and he was very quick to alert us to the problem and how it was being resolved. We were always very well informed throughout the project. The most amazing thing about their work is that they meticulously clean up at the end of each workday so that you never knew they were there. I have never experienced such attention to cleanliness. The contractor also was very sensitive to our tastes and style and worked very hard to meet that. I can safely say that the master bath turned out as a piece of art
  • Renaissance Inc - The House Whisperer
Renaissance converted a bedroom by closing off the entrance from the hallway and opening the wall from the master bedroom into the new bathroom. Todd Smith (owner) worked with us to fit everything I wanted into the new bathroom including a soaking tub and an over sized closet. Our house is 60 years old so this involved extensive work with a plumber and an electrician. We had to have the circuit panel replaced, move the dryer, etc. The estimate was on the money with no unexpected expenses. I got 3 estimates and they were all within $5,000 of each other. My only real concern was with the amount of time it took to finish the job. The big things were done according to schedule but the final finish details took longer than expected. We did go on a vacation the third week and that may have thrown the schedule off. Some of his workers were really good, Larry the plumber and Larry the tile guy were particularly good and Chris Bush (the carpenter) was extremely patient with us and was willing to change things at the last minute to accommodate us
