sorry you must have sent the text to the wrong number. My cell phone number is the same as the one you called me on. 919-523-5351. I scheduled my time to come but didn't receive your text. I checked Angie's List to try to find you, but I didn't know which request was yours. 2nd Reply: This is 5/26/20, I just found out that when you call through Angie's List it does not always show you my cell phone number on your phone. I called Ace Hardware and confirmed what they would charge to replace the screens. I then added $100 for my time to go to the home, remove the screens, bring them to the hardware store for replacement, and pick them up and return to home for installation. It sounds like this homeowner found someone else who was willing to travel to the home and do the job for a little less.Service Provider Response
I setup an estimate to go to the address giving to me by the owner in Apex but when I typed the address into my GPS, it said New Hill. New Hill is out of my work district but I traveled there because I promised to do an estimate. Yes, I do not hang curtain rods, but we do several other small jobs. I have about 8 jobs lined up that will be 1/2 a day to 1 full day. Most of the jobs we do are exterior repairs and painting ranging between 3 - 6 days. After looking at what the owner wanted us to do, I didn't feel comfortable doing things that I did not believe needed to be or should be done. Aslo, I told the owner that the travel time I would have to charge him would not be worth his or our time.HVAC.
